3 1/2 months out and stalled
Hi ladies,
I am down 50.4 pounds as of today. THis week was horrible!! I only lost .6 pounds. I have been exercising and eating right but guess its just one of those things. I am being patient. I am drinking my water, getting my vitamins and laid off of the fruit, that might have been a culprit. Also, I had my cycle last week so I expected it to be a bad week but I wanted the middle of this week to be better.
Oh well, guess we will have to take what happens and accept it. I will continue to be diligent with my exercise- I want to shoot for 5 days a week, so far I work out on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. I really want to work out on Tuesdays too. I take Sunday and Friday off.
Good luck to you, my December buddies, we will overcome these stalls!!

Hi AQ! You are are doing all the right things! It will happen to us eventually. I am a daily weigher and I think it gets my morale low sometimes when I don't lose day after day (today was another one of those days... *big sigh*) Let's keep eachother motivated. Ladies we can do this!!!! I always ask if this is the end of the road for me, do with each stall.. I know it cannot be.. it just can't.
Hugs,
Melissa
Hey everyone -
I'm right there with most of you re: weight loss. At my 3 month check-up the beginning of the month, I was down a little over 50 lbs. I thought I was the only one losing at this rate, and it is good to hear of others with similar experiences.
And let's just not talk about the hair loss, okay? I was getting very upset after every shower, but am trying to not let it get to me. I'm taking biotin every day - I know the jury is still out over whether that helps or not but I figure I've got nothing to lose by trying it (except more hair - ha ha, I just crack myself up sometimes).
Yeah, okay, I've been sitting here this morning drinking coffee so I think I must be punchy with caffeine - time to go eat some protein.
Y'all have a wonderful day - and we will all get there, we are on our way (even if it is not happening as fast as we'd like!)

So far *knock on wood*, I've not started losing hair. I did add Biotin (as a precaution) and my calcium (liquid) has Zinc and Magnesium in it too.. which also supposedly may help, along with making sure I always get in my protein.
I was at 7.2 (they want at least a 7 for your protein level, at my surgeon's office), so that may be why it's not started yet. I'll just keep doing what I've been doing, and praying it all decides to stay!
I hope for those that are having it thin it stops that nonsense ASAP!
Janie,
When my hair loss started I got about 3" cut off so that it doesn't look so bad in the shower. It really isn't worrying me yet because my hair is absurdly thick anyway and I know that it will grow back even curlier than it is now. (this has happened three times before) The mess is a nuisance, though. I'll be glad when it stops.

i'm in a stall as well--in fact after the first 2 months, i've been in and out of a 3 week long stalls, or even some weeks where i gain a few lbs., which has been extremely scary/frustrating. luckily so far, it is still moving in the right direction overall but at a MUCH slower pace.
in fact, now that i'm half way to goal, i feel like i'm crawling
