I hate clothes shopping
I always have, I always will. With that said, went to Fashion Bug, because nothing, and I mean nothing fits. LOL I had to try on 3 different tops this morning to find something that fit and wasn't falling off my shoulders to take the hubby to work.
So, stopped in at Fashion Bug to grab some new tops for the weekend and during the week. Figured I'd grab 2 or 3, and just wait until I'm down another 10 -15lbs, before getting anything more.
I fit in an 18/20. I was a 26/28, or 30/32, depending on the style. Came home and tried on the shorts and capris that I had put up many a moon ago. I fit the 22's comfortably and the 20's are just a tad snug.
So, now I'm set for another month or so. Ugh, other than having to go bra shopping this week, as those are starting to migrate north over my shoulder blades. LOL
Hope everyone has a Happy St. Patty's day. I have to go check on the corned beef and soda bread.

Heather...never say never! You are doing so great and I bet that once you are into the 16's a whole new world will open up and lure you in: CLEARANCE RACKS!!! I could never find anything to fit me on the cheap clearance racks until I got into the 16's and now it is a veritable goldmine of opportunities. $3 shirts!!! And retail too, not a thrift store! That is a thrill that should quicken the heart of the most ardent shopping-hater.
And speaking of thrift stores...now I can fit into nicer clothes! The ones that people boought and probably gained out of then donated. The plus size clothes there are always so sadly worn out but the smaller sizes are usually in really good shape. I have had so much fun finding clothes lately! Hope that you will start to get some enjoyment out of your new clothes hunting soon.
Hope you had a fun St. Patty's day!

LOL.. it won't happen. I look at clothes shopping like most people view a visit to the dentist for root canal surgery.
Hubby begs to go to the mall and I just stare at him and say, "Is it Xmas yet? Cause I'm not going there until I have to go Xmas shopping, and then it's for exactly two hours "
I just hate clothes shopping, I always have. But then again, it's probably because I have tastes that my budget can't keep up with! LOL
First of all, just reading your post brightened my day! I've been feeling (like I'm sure many of us have) that my weight loss has been so slow, but I'm right along with you... and you're doing amazingly well!
I can understand the hatred of shopping, because I was seriously right there with you. However, once the pounds started falling off of me (disturbing analogy, anyone?!), and the stored-estrogen started flowing around, I couldn't walk by Lane Bryant without going in "just to take a peek" at what they had.
Congrats on the amazing success, and don't worry; I've joined you in the need to go bra-shopping... I was hoping I could make it work on my own, but I think I need to be re-measured. Oh joy.
