Hey, y'all! I'm sorry that I didn't really post last week - I took everyone's advice and just focused on getting better instead of burning those calories...! This week went a little bit better for me, as I attempted to get back to the gym. I had a workout on Wednesday that REALLY pushed my limits. I was so sore on Thursday and Friday!!! I've found that I'm able to do the full 15 minutes on both the treadmill and the recumbant (seated) bike, but can only stand about 5 - 10 (max) on the eliptical... my heart rate gets so high, and I have trouble breathing. I've found that I've lost about 50+ pounds, which is amazing. YAY! I still can't believe that it has gone so well. I definitely experience the plateaus that everyone speaks of, but am generally okay with that, since I know that hitting the gym a little harder will jump-start the weight loss yet again. So, here's to a week of exercising success to everyone! No matter what you do, whether at the gym, on the job, or taking walks around your city, just imagine; you're creating a healthier you! KEEP IT UP!

Hi Krystal, It is great to hear that you are feeling better and have gotten back to your exercise. I'm sorry that I didn't post the last two week's, it has been a very busy time. More than 50 pounds is excellent! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Keeping up your exercise will no doubt help those plateaus be more like little stalls than the longer monsters we all fear. I didn't do my stair stepper or Pilates at all last week but did extra walking and gardening in addition to my exercise at work. Today I worked, did Pilates and gardened an hour. Tomorrow I plan to do the stair stepper. Thursday nothing and Friday prob. the stair stepper again. Seems the weekend routine I like the best is Pilates on Sat. and stepper on Sunday. Now that gardening season is back I'll have to keep adding that in too. (Yeah!!!) I have a question for you about that elliptical: have you been on one of those Tony Little Gazelle's? I was wondering if it works the body the same way as an elliptical? I've never been on either one before but could definitely fit a Gazelle into my house easier than an elliptical. (still haven't gotten over the gym phobia yet) Molly
