Exercise Group!
Hello!
Where did this week go?!
I think this is probably the LEAST that I have exercised since October, and that's not good. I've been exhausted lately, and just generally wanting to spend time with my husband instead of the treadmill/eliptical/bike/weights...
If anyone has some "snap out of it"/"you can do it" words, I'd love to hear them!!!!!!!
My exercise this week:
Sunday: Walked around Pike Place Market (Seattle) for three hours.
Tuesday: 35 minutes at the gym - treadmill, eliptical, bike.
That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry! I was weak this week.

Hi Krystal,
This week has been nonstop busy/crazy and I just realized it really is Friday! Right now I'm not the best one to offer snap-out-of-it comments because I'm just too pooped. Over the weekend I did my pilates and stair stepper at home but on Monday I added arm weights and tore/strained something in my left forearm. So it has been a hard week at work with all the lifting I do there.
Every day after work this week I have squeezed in some kind of shopping and added another 1-2 hours walking on top of all the speed walking and stair climbing I do at work. It showed on the scale too...I dropped three pounds during the week. Yeah!
So tonight I'm having a Pampered Molly Party and will get to bed on time and wake up tomorrow and do my stair stepper again...minus the arm weights. Tonight I'll sit in the massage chair and then take a little nap and maybe even splurge and have a bubble bath. Do you know I haven't had a soak bath since surgery and bet I will fit in the tub this time without touching the sides. (I hope!)
Since returning to work, Saturdays have been terrible days when I am really hungry. Last weekend I determined that I had to have a plan to fight it and it really helped. So hopefully beginning the day with exercise will help and if not, I do have a bunch of portioned-out foods that should keep me from being too hungry.
Have a good weekend and get back to your workouts. Three days off is enough!

Way to go, Molly! All of that extra effort definitely paid off - hooray for the extra weightloss! Enjoy your bubble bath.
I think the thing that I learned from this week is that working out in the morning is the best way for me to get it in. I was working out at night (after 10:30) on days that I worked, but my whole internal-clock just isn't set for that anymore.
Oh well... I guess we just take each experience as a chance to learn, right?
Congrats again on your success, and here's to a great week for all of us!!!!!

Krystal,
Want to hear something funny? When I had my little sit-down in the massage chair I let it run it's 15 minute cycle, then let it rest and did it again. Didn't think anything of it but my back was still sore that night. The next day it felt as though I had been beaten up! I think there is less fat on my back and those mechanical messaging balls hurt me, isn't that a riot?! It feels all bruised where the massager worked and the rest is fine (no visible bruising) and I can't stand to have my back touched for now. It sort of makes me feel 'delicate' and that is a word that I've never associated with my big 'ol self. LOL!!! Another weight loss surprise. (hopefully nobody will come up and slap me on the back at work tomorrow)
Next time...a pad between me and the massager! Woohoo!!!
Back on the exercise subject--I added extra time to my stepper routine and my upper legs got such a good workout. Yeah!
Have a great week and enjoy your MORNING workouts!

As much as it sucks to be in pain, hooray for having less padding!!!!! I honestly laughed when I read your post, because I completely understand what you're talking about! Sure, we can fit in to seats/other places better, but there's also that whole "losing our protective armor" thing, too.
Awesome job with the stepper routine! You know you're doing a great job if you can feel the results like that. I'll keep your determination in mind when I go to tackle the gym this week!
HOORAY!
