Hi, Debbie, and welcome! Have you talked to your doctor about the weight gain? It could possibly be that your body is adjusting differently than others, or that you might have a leak. Whatever it is, I'm praying for you and hoping that it gets straightened out!!!!! Take care, Krystal

are you drinking all your water? I got SO constipated when I did not do that over Christmas. The weight gain could just be from being plugged up, hormonal, or alot of things. Try not to freak out about 3 pounds, but do make sure you do everything the docs and nuts say to do......It has really made a difference for me. Best of luck Sharon J.

Debbie, I second the water comments. When I was home on medical leave there was no constipation problem but I was sipping, sipping, sipping all day long and everytime I woke up in the night. (a lot!) Now that I am back at work I don't have access to water all day and now am dealing with constipation. Have started adding 2 tsp. of Benefiber to my morning protein shake and now can 'go' every three days or so. Don't fret about the 3#...it could be water gain, the fact that you are constipated or just plain old monthly body fluctuations. If you write down what you are eating you'll see that it is such a tiny amount there is no possible way for you to truly gain. I've read here on OH that we don't lose pounds and inches at the same time, so if you are having a little stall you may be shrinking in inches and then the pounds will all of a sudden catch up. Don't get discouraged! Keep up the water, journal your food intake and hang out here plenty with us we are all in the same struggle together. Molly

I was experiencing some constipation and I drink water constantly, my Nut suggested that I take my iron only every other eveing and the evening I do not take the iron I am to drink a 1/4 cup of warm prune juice. So far this has been working very well for me.
