Feel like my weight loss is so slow.
Delana,
I am in the same boat as you. I am 2 months out as of yesterday. I have lost 64 pounds since my heaviest last Feb. But, now I feel as though I am stopped losing weight the past week. But, after reading all of the replys it seems as though I am just PMS this week. It sounds like you are doing what you need to. I think you are getting more calories than I am. That is good. I am not a morning eater and I haven' been getting the protein in the am. So, just keep up the good work and you will do fine. It takes time and can be a slow process at times. Plus, with this winter weather we are not out burning as much calories that we would if it was nicier outside. Good luck....Ronda
Delana,
You are doing fine. We all are obsessing over here but we are all losing comparable amounts of weight. I had surgery December 8 and have lost 37 pounds. I just met my 9 weeks on Friday, 2 months on Thursday. I am feeling good, weigh daily but don't let the scale run or ruin my day. I rejoice when I lost, I just keep plugging away if not, I weigh, step off and then log it in and go on about my day.
I do so much better though when I work out but I have been slacking in that department. I will get going with that again
I did start something today, I will stop eating after 8pm. I looked at the clock today and saw that it was 730 and I still had not eaten so I hurried and fixed my plate so that I was done by 8pm. I drink only liquids after 8pm.
Sometimes my weight stays the same or I go up and down 1 pound for several days but I just chalk it up to my body doing its thing and keeping me guessing. Try not to let it frustrate you.
Good luck to you.
Angela
I just wanted to let all of you amazingly wonderful ladies know what a blessing reading all of your postings has been.
I'm in with the cotton-ball idea... just stuff them in your ears, ignore the scale, and keep doing what we know to be right!!!!!
Thank you for all the input and advice you put out there. Isn't it awesome how far everyone has come?

388 (342 at surgery) / 300 / 190.
Thanks so much for all your responses. I have read all of them MANY times!! When I am feeling especially sad or frustrated with the pace of weight loss, I come back here and read. It helps me to know that the people with the same surgery date (give or take a couple of days or weeks) are all in the same boat, and basically losing at the same weight. It's nice to know that "I have not yet failed!! *GASP*"
We can do this!!! Yes, we can!! I'm so happy to have you ladies as friends and companions on this journey. ((((((BIG SQUEEZY HUGS)))))) to each and every one of you.
Love, Delana
