Sort of babbling, looking for insight.
Okay....Thursday I was 6 weeks out. Here goes my story!
I weighed myself this morning and I am down 39 pounds from the day of surgery. I look on here at other peoples post who had surgery when I did and they are down further. I think I might know why.
I can pretty much eat anything now. I don't eat too much bread, no soda, no sugar and no milk. Although tonight I did try a kids size small cup of TCBY Blackberry Nonfat Sugarfree soft serve yogurt and was YUMMY.
I was explaining at my support group this morning that sometimes I can eat a can of tuna before I feel full. I have discovered that when I was told to eat slow, I took it literally. I did not realize that you should chew slow but eat your meal with in 10-15 minutes and that is it you are done. I was taking at least 30 minutes.
I plan on joining a gym next week (when my tax return shows up!). They have water areobics 4 days a week. I figured this would be the best place to start.
I must say that I do not eat nearly as much as I use to and I am trying my hardest to get more water in. I am a very picky eater!! I don't like pastar or vegetables. The only vegetables I really like are canned green beans, onions, artichokes, cucumbers. I love dill pickles. I can eat tuna, fish and shrip. Chicken does great with me. Groundbeef is good, but just try to stay away from it. Crackers do really well. I am not a cheese person either! So I will be getting a calcium pill soon.
Any other thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks for reading.
