Recipes for Protein Shakes
Hey Guys! I am two weeks post op now and still on full liquids, and thought I would share these recipes with you all. Hockey mom was looking for ways to get in more protein too! Good Luck! We Can do this! Cindy
Finished recipes should countain 12-20 g of protein/8ounces
Chocolate:
Fill blender half way with ice. Add enough water to just make the ice float. Add choc. powder. add Equal or SPlenda to taste. Blend until smooth.
Chocolate Mocha(yumm)
Fill blender halfway with ice. Add enough water to just make ice float. Add chocolate powder. equal or splanda. 1-2 tsp decaff instant coffee, blend till smooth.
Vanilla:
Fill blender half way ice. add water to make ice float. Add Vanilla Protein Powder, equal- splenda. Blend until smooth.
Van Mocha ( same as Choc)
Fruity Shake
blender half with ice. Add enough water to float ice. Add vanilla powder, equal, splenda, 1 small container sugar free jelo. Blend until smooth.
