Well it has been 3 days since surgery on 12/27. I was released on 12/29. Everything is going better than expected. I have no gas pains, and just a little sore or tenderness on my left side. I am having no problems with my 4oz's an hour and have no hunger what so ever. Pre op I was an insulin dependant Diabetic. I have not taken any insulin since the hospital. Its has been low enough not to need me to correct it. All is good. I can't wait to start exercising and watching my transformation

Anthony, Congrats with the surgery. I know you must really feel good now that it is done and over with. The waiting is the hardest part. I had my surgery on Dec. 13th. and I am also doing very well. I have been sipping on crystal light all day long so I hope that I am meeting the oz requirement. I am only about to drink at one time about 2-3 oz. It is amazing how your life can change overnight with just one surgery. That is great that you don't have to depend on the insulin anymore. I know that I have lost about 15 lbs since my surgery and I feel great! I it wonderful to see my clothes getting loose. That a wonderful feeling... Good luck and keep up the hard work! Ronda

Anthony- Congrats! That's wonderful that you don't have pain. I had an open RNY on the 13th and to me that hurt sooo bad! I have tenderness on the left side as well. I hope that goes away soon. I bet that feels great not to have to take your insulin!! I started walking around quite a bit about a week out. I can already walk about a mile and a half. I'm excited too about seeing results. I'm sure you'll look awesome!
