Anyone experience numbness

I have this strange numbness on my left thigh, went to the doc to see if it was a blood clot and said it was not. It was on the upper outside of the thigh. Anyone experience this???? Marie

Hi there, I am almost 3wks post-op and I sometimes have a numbness in my hip, more so on the left side and usually just when I am sleeping. I thought at first it was the way I was laying but not sure. I have my Dr appt tomorrow so will ask him about that. Hope you are doing well otherwise! Take care Marie!! HUGS, Chrissy

Marie - I read your post and about fell out of my chair. I am experiencing the same exact thing...same leg same area. I almost made a trip to the ER because I was scared it was a blod clot. Then I remembered them telling me a blood clot eas a pain in one small location. I too wish I could figure out what the heck is going on with my leg. Is your leg also kind of sore?

Hi karen, Yes, my leg has been kinda sore, like a "work out" kinda sore. Last night, it was worse, I could feel the numbness as well as this burning with it. It drove me nearing insane. I tried to raise my leg with pillows, walk around, still it was there. I hope to find out what it is. Hopefully it will go away, I do not like that feeling at all. Other than this, I think everything is going well. Just have that pain on the left side, but it is getting less and less each day. How is everything going with you? Marie

Marie - Besides the pain in my leg everything is going great. I feel pretty good and am pretty close to getting in the majority of my water which was really hard the first few days. I have my follow up on the 27th, I plan on mentioning my leg issue and see if there is an explanation for it. The only releif I get from it is laying on my right side in bed with a pillow between my legs. Even then it still bothers me some. Glad to hear you are doing so well!
