You sound just like how I did before my surgery on Wednesday. I doubted what I was doing and even said if I tried to diet really hard this time I can do with out having to do this. My family has really supported me in my decision. I prayed to God every minute and still continue to do so. This in number one priority PRAYER . I was very nervous in pre-op holding. They gave a little something to relax me and I felt great. After surgery I did have some pain. It was told to me before hand that it would happen. That night after surgery I was up walking around and doing well. I made sure to use my spirometer (sp?), it is very important to keep the lungs clear. I came home yesterday and all is well so far. I know that I am not getting everything in that I should but I am not going to pu**** to hard at first. After saying all of this I know that you will do great.
Keep positive thoughts and PRAYERS.
I COMPLETELY understand! Please don't think that what you're worried about is weird... you've been in that body for a while, so it's not going to immediately feel natural once you switch to a smaller size.
Surround yourself with positive people who don't give you the "you were fine the way you were" talk, because that never helps... take care of yourself, and know that you have a whole entire online family rooting for you!
