Any pre-surgery advice? Surgery on 12/15

I have a date - now everything is moving so quickly. I completed all my pre-op work on 12/7, then will meet with the psych and cardiologist on 12/11, nut on 12/14 and surgery in the morning on 12/15....I can't wait to be on the losing side!! Any words of advice as I'm heading into the last week before the big day?

Congrats on your date! It'll be here before you know it! If you wear underwire bras buy a nice, soft cotton, non-wire. I couldn't wear my underwires- too painful with pressure. Good luck!

WOW! Great advice, thanks! I hadn't even thought of this! My surgery (RNY) is also 12/15 but I'm traveling out of town for it tomorrow. I packed a "comfortable outfit" for the way home but didn't think about bra!! So do you just truly NOT feel hungry those 48 hours post-surgery before you ingest ANYTHING? Is it hard to sit with other people at meal time during the liquid/thicker liquid/puree stages? I probably shouldn't be putting all of this in a reply email, but I'm goin for it...
