Finally!!!!

I am finally on the otherside! Yippee!!!! Had surgery on December 4th 2006, with Dr. Van Wagner at St. Alexius Hospital. The only problem I had was they think I was very dehydrated and all the fluid that went in did not come out, but will get through this little problem. Other than that everything went well

Congratulations to you ! I am scheduled to have surgery this coming Friday and I am excited. How soon were you up and about and how long did you stay in the hospital? Angela

I returned to my room about 1pm and was sitting in a chair by about 3pm. Everyone that came by could not believe I even had surgery because I was so alert and talking. The first couple of times getting up was pretty hard, but I can tolerate a lot of pain. I would push the button for pain reliever only when I could stand it any more or when I was going to get out of bed. I had surgery on Monday and came home on Wednesday. Angela I was scared and nervous right up to the time of surgery, but calmed down really quick. I and everyone I know prayed for me and I will be praying for you also. Hope you don't have much pain and that everything is smooth sailing for you.
