Here I Go!!!

Today is my last day at work so most likely the last day I'll be on-line. Monday is my clear liquid diet and bowel prep day Uggg so I thought I would stay close to home, and Tuesday is my big day. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am and surgery is at 7:30. I just wanted to say thank you for all of the well wishes and for all of the info that you guys share with us pre-ops, and if you think about please say a little prayer for me on Tuesday. Looks like there are a bunch of us soon to be losers on here.. I will be having surgery also on the 5th at 7:30 am.. At least we get in first right Stephanie.. Good luck to everyone who is having surgery on the 5th, how is everyones nerves doing?? Christina

Hi Stephanie, congrats on your surgery date. I'm having mine the day before you, on Dec. 4th. They have had me on a liquid diet (Optifast shakes) 4 times a day for the past 3 weeks, but the day before my surgery I also have to have only clear liquids after 1pm and a bowel prep that day also. But hopefully all this will be worth it for us and the worst part will be over very shortly. Best of luck on you surgery Dan

Hi Stephanie, Good luck. My operation is on December 6th so I'll be praying for you. Funny thing is I'm not on any special diet leading up to the operation. I just can't have anything after 12 midnight the night before my surgery. I've already lost 15 pounds so maybe that's why...I don't know but best of luck and we'll see you on the losing side! Herb
