Hi Patricia, I feel the same way about seeing all these Dr.'s. It will be nice when the surgery is over and you don't have to see any more Dr.'s except your surgeon for a while. I'm also trie of all the testing, I feel like a guinea pig. I've also been on a liquid diet for the last 3 1/2 weeks and yes it get monotonous. I'm on Optifast which is probably the same as you're taking. I see reading the different posts some people weren't required to go on a liquid diet. I'm jealous of them. I'll be so glad when this is over with. Best of luck with your surgery and the start of your new life. :thumbsup: Dan

Dan, My surgeon explained that the reason for the liquid diet is to shrink your internal organs, especially your liver, which makes surgery much easier, and makes it a lot less likely that they will be able to do it laproscopically. It's worth it to me. Best of luck. Pat
