My date is Dec. 4th

Hi, I'm new to the board, but I did find it helpful in finding a surgeon. I'm looking forward to getting the surgery over with, all this waiting gets to you. Is anyone else having surgery on Dec. 4th? I'm having it in Oceanside NY.

Hi Dan, Congrats on your upcoming date. Yes, mine is on the 4th too. The waiting is terrible!!! I'm so excited and nervous and jumpy and tired and apprehensive, etc.... Can't wait for the hospital time to come and go and then just get on with living with the RNY finally. It feels like the final completion to a journey I started 6 years ago. Best of luck to you!!! Thanks Patricia and best of luck to you also. I'm having the lapband, what type of surgery are you having? I went for my pre-surgical testing today so it's all done now until the surgery. I'm anxious for it to be over and I bet you are too. Dan

I am having Gastric Bypass. I am really anxious to have it over with. I have been to more doctors this past few months than I have my whole life. I have been on liquids (OptiTrim protien shakes and clear liquids) for 4 weeks now and I am ready for that to be over, too. I can hardly gag down those shakes any more. I am ready to start a new chapter in my life.
