Surgery Date!!!!

Hi to all, and hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!! I've been lurking for several months now, gaining tons of information and advice from everyone. My appeal went through a week ago, and just found out on Wednesday that my surgery will be on Dec. 13th!!! What a wonderful thing to be thankful for!!

Hi Cheryl, I'm also scheduled for RNY on Dec. 13th and I am very excited. Still waiting for the official approval from my insurance company but I'm optomistic. I'll just feel better when I have the approval. Vicki

WOW! Small world, my H is from Niles and I grew up in Granger (IN). We own some property in Dowagiac and will probably retire there in a couple of years. Also your surgery is on my birthday, I almost wish mine was that day too. Good luck! I wonder how many of the same people we know in Niles???

I just noticed there is another person listed from Niles who is also having surgery on 13-Dec. Really small world.....

Hi Cheryl. My surgery date is also on Dec. 13. I go to my PCP on MOnday to get all my test results and make sure there is nothing to to cause delay, then I talk to my sureon on Nov. 30.

Thank you all, I can't wait to be a loser!! Hockey Mom, my H grew up here in Niles, I grew up in South Bend. Really small world! My surgery will be at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

I figure this is a great way to end the year, and a wonderful way to start a new year! At last I'll finally be able to keep my New Year's resolution for 2007!!!!
