I am having surgery on Dec 5th. The date is fast approaching. I am so ready.....but scared, too! What pre op preparations do you have to do? Hope all goes well with you. Good Luck!

Hi! I am having open RNY on December 11th so I too am counting down the month. I am not required to do anything but a two day pre-op liquid but I think I am going to do a full two weeks if I can, kind of to help with Thanksgiving anyway because I am going to enjoy that meal!

Hello and welcome aboard...I try to drop into a lot of the different boards. My name is Regina and I am schedule for RNY on Dec 4th.. OMG I am SO excited and I truly can't wait. I don't know how anyone else feels but to this point in my life it's like I am just living life but not REALLY living life. I am so excited (a little nervous) but so much more excited. I really, really hope that all goes well for your, congrats on the surgery date.

Hi Kathy: We are all going to be losers in the same Month. My date is December 5th and I'm extremely excited. What a Great New Year we are all heading for in 2007! Stay in touch - we can all support each other since we all are feeling the same way. Peggy
