I Got A Date

Hi, I am new to this. I just found out on Wednesday that I was approved by the insurance company for the RNY, and later that day my surgery was scheduled for December 7th. A little background info. on me is that I am a single mother of 3 year old twins that keep me hopping. I am hoping that this surgery will allow me to be a better mother for my children, allow me to be more active in their lives, along with my high blood pressure. I first considered this surgery a few months ago when I ended up in the ER. I had been having chest pains, and at that time my blood pressure was through the roof. At that point I actually realized how bad my health really was and at such a young age.

Congratulations Heather!!! I am so excited for you! Three year old twins.... oh my goodness! Imagine how much more of your life you will be able to share with them now that you are on your way to a healthier you! I have three kids (14,12,10) and can't wait to give them a run for their money. My suregery is going to be on 12/6, just the day before yours. Again, congratulations and welcome to the board! Sue

Heather, Twins??? How do you do it. Mine are 2.5 and 1.5, and they really keep me hopping. That's one of the reasons I'm doing the surgery as well. I wish the best of luck!!! Joanne
