I gotta date!!!

Hello everyone! My name is Cindy from Athens,Texas Im 34 and I have been fighting the battle of the bulge long enough....After having my second child the weight kept coming,and coming....My current weight is 215 and Im 5 ft 1 inch. I feel and look like a walking beach ball...I finally have a surgery date! Im so very excited! I can not wait until the pounds start coming off!!! I am having the Lap Band on December 1st and Im so very excited...yea!!

hi cindy my name is jennifer from palmdale CA, my date is 12-6-2006and my has been up forever with my lowest of 155 and a current of 278 ! but by next summer we will both look great!!!!!don't worry december will arrive quickly.

Hello Jennifer, congrats on your date also.......and yes we will be ready for summer.....I think we all need the support we can get. I think this is a great site...only been on it a few times and its great to meet people going through the same thing. I'll be around for a while...Cindy

Welcome, and congratulations!!! I'm Sue (Alany, OR) and I'm having surgery (RNY)on 12/6. Think about it... 1 month (actually a few days less for you) and we will begin our transformations. After a life of the scale moving up, it's going to be amazing for it to be going the other direction... for good!! Again, conratulations!!! Sue

Congrats! I just got approved for December 15 for the lap band as well! I feel so overwhelmed with emotions and this big things to do list...I am just thankful for the coordinator at Fair Oaks Hospital who is helping me schedule all the tests. Again congrats and good luck!

Congrats on your date! I see you have Dr. Tran listed as your surgeon, he and Dr. Halmi will be doing my surgery (RNY). Maybe I should have chosen to have mine at Fair Oaks. Today I almost threw up my hands in tears and said forget the whole freakin thing! anyway sorry to high jack your thread Again congrats and welcome to the Dec board.

I am sorry to hear that you shed tears about your procedure process...what's happening? Don't give up...are the issues with the Dr. office or hospital, or tests? Can you still schedule at Fair Oaks? I gotta tell you, the patient coordinator has been fantastic so far...the only thing I have to do is work with her and schedule my sleep study...she schedules everything else.
