Hi there!! Can I join the December Surgery Group?

Hello Stephany, Congratulations on your date, I am having mine on Dec 5th. I am excited too but I am also just a little scared. I plan on making the best of November to get ready for Christmas and make sure my house is in order so that after the surgery I can just focus on me for a little bit. I hope we can keep in touch as we take this journey together!! Stephanie

Love your name!!! That's GREAT about your surgery!!! You're one day ahead of me! I would love to stay in touch too. I just said to my hubby this morning that I wanted to get the Christmas decorations up right after Thanksgiving so I don't have to worry about it after surgery! Our focus should be on us and will be for a while after we do this. I bet if you're like me, everything you do is for everyone else. This is our time and we need to be taken care of by our loved ones. Enjoy it!!

hi Stephany- I am new to this website too. I just recently found it. I had been posting and reading the OH website for people with a BMI of over 50 and the OH website for Indiana where I am from. I thought it would be cool to find a site where people were near the same date as me. I will have surgery (open RNY) on Dec. 20. I am so glad I found this site. We can stay in touch, compare notes, and pray for each other. Karen
