revision date set

I am assuming that you date has moved again. Hoping this is the last move they do, and you will soon be having this long awaited surgery. Oh, I would be going insane if they were doing that to me. Lots of luck to you. Marie

Hi Joanne, happy to hear from you. My surgery was 7/29/97. I've put on 30 of the 90 lost, am eating more, sugar, diet sodas, etc, and I did not follow directions the first time around, thus enlarging the opening. An endoscopy last June confirmed this, and my doctor has agreed to redo it. I am thrilled to know that I get a chance to do it right this time. I think the "not being able to eat" really got to me the first time, and I bypassed the puree stage completely. I am scared to death of reaching 300 pounds again, which is what I weighed in 1992. I was 262 when I had surgery, went down to 172, and never really felt like I lost what I should have...but it was probably my fault. But I am looking forward to getting the "do over".
