Got my date!!!

Hi - On Tuesday I got my insurance approval letter. On Wednesday I called the surgeons office to say "what now?" and she said "how's December 6?". I said "for what?" and she said..."for your surgery!!" Woo hoo! Now to get emotionally ready!

The "now what?... you mean now?" is quite difficult to digest, I know. I was in complete disbelief as well. All this time, and BAM! Here we are looking at a date. One thing is for sure, we came to the right place for the emotional support. My date is December 12th, I am both excited and terrified. Not sure what to expect. It seems like yet another long wait, but I know its only just around the corner. Waiting all these years as compared to a month of wait is nothing, but still seems like forever! Becky, Congrats!!!! I know it can seem like a shock when you finally get the approval and especially when you actually get a date. I'm so happy for you. Just be glad that you've got the next month to get yourself ready. Welcome to the Dec06 board!! Joanne

I got my approval date for Dec. 11 and I am excited and scared. Good Luck Let us know how it was for us that is going after you. do you know exactly how long is the Lap Band surgery because that is what I am having
