Hi everyone. We are all doing a great job? Keep up the great work. 1. Pre-Op 248/ Current 176/Goal 140 2. My daily food intake B. low sugar oatmeal, or small bagel with cream cheese L. frozen lean quisine dinner D. chicken, fish, or hamburg with vegetables S. low fat cheezit, beef jerkey, or cottage cheese with pineapple, then some fruit. also 20oz of skim milk a day. and then aquafina flavor splash grape water all day and night. Except 1/2 hour before and after I eat. Also my vitamins. 3. I haven't had any complications. The only issues that I have had is in my office we have a lot of drug rep lunches and it is sometimes hard. 4. My family and friends are very happy for me. 5. Some days are better than others. I take each day at a time. 6. The advice that I would give is to drink, drink, and concentrate on getting your protein in because it does help with the weight loss. Also excercise. I go to Curves 5 days a week and I know that it has helped me with toning and losing inches. Also don't get upset when you have a stall. It does eventually go away. Miriam

Topic: Face lift in a JAR
I had a friend who is no longer with us so I can't ask her. She would put something on her face that made her look ten years younger. To me it seemed not only did it take care of the wrinkles but it lifted her face around the neck, chin and jaw line. Do any of you know a product like this? Where do you get it and how much? The wrinkles aren't my problem YET! But my NATURAL Liz Taylor beauty mark is no longer across from my lips. Its down under my chin. Dang! and that was the best part of me and it is now out of sight.

i agree with the water.. make sure that you are getting it all in. also make sure that you are getting in enough protein and also have your iron checked. low iron (anemia) definitely causes dizzy spells! dee

Pre-op/Current/Goal 289/206/165 2. What is your daily food intake like? b- protein shake, then more protein (an eggw/turkey bacon or these yummy cottage cheese protein pancakes that i got from another website!) l- usually some sort of salad, or egg, tuna or chicken salad d- usually fish, chicken or meat.. also veggies snacks - protein bars (i love the rocky road protein bars at the vitamin shoppe!), 2-3 protein shakes, nuts, string cheese 3. Any complications, problems or issues? the only problem that i have had is low iron 4. How have your family and friends adjusted to the "New You"? it's been good.. i haven't shared with many other than close friends and family, but everyone has been supportive especially as it is so evident now! 5. Do you think the further out you are getting that this journey is getting easier or harder? Why? i think that this is definitely a lifestyle change and as good habits become ingrained it will help in this journey. it will never be easy! 6. Any advice you would like to offer.... it's true that this is an individual journey no matter how much support you have. do your homework and do the right thing for you. surround yourself with good, positive people and educate yourself in all aspects of this journey. it is your body! don't expect anyone else to take care of it.

I get them also when I stand up. I feel like I might pass out then it fizzles out and I'm fine. Never sick to my stomach though.. I don't know what that might be from but could be dehydration as was mentioned before...

I used to wear just my size a lot. Now they are prettier but the support is gone. I've bought 3 different JMS since surgery and none of them had any support for me and they all claim lift and support. I guess I am domed to the Playtex 18 hour the rest of my life. I just wanted pretty. But when I find pretty there is no support for me with out it digging into my bad shoulder bone.
