i buy my wacoal bras at nordstrom. you can also buy them at lord and taylor. if you go to either store, make sure that you have someone measure you. i haven't done that since my mother took me to buy my first bra, but it makes a huge difference since we've lost so much weight! again, i can't say enough about these bras!

JaNae your Yat Gaw Me sounds like a dish I learn to make when I lived in New Orleans. They called it Yac a mein I think. Can't remember how to spell it. Every body there made it as much as they make gumbo. I still make it. I love the juice which is full of soy sauce what I don't need.

aug i weighed 437 ***dec 6 2005 my surgery day 373 1/2 ** today 237 lbs even. total loss 200 lbs but only 136lbs from dec 6th surgery date to today. i should reach my goal of 180 by the 1st of dec. and then having my excess skin removed on dec 6th 2006 ***1 year to the day** very excited about that, can hardly wait. i'm a new man and happy to say so. my doctor was the best, a really nice guy and very supportive all the way though this .

yes, sharon dr. thayer said i will reach my goal weight. if everything goes as planned. i am way ahead of what they had thought i would be at this point. so he said i can start planning for a 12/6/06 surgery for my skin removal. i should be at 180- 185 lbs by then and will lose between 15 - 20 more with that surgery. most. i started losing last aug when i weighed in at a high weight of 437 1/2 lbs.my surgery day of 12/6/05 i weighed 373, and today i weigh 237 even, and that leaves meat total of 57lbs to reach my goal of 180lbs. now i need to lose only 2 1/4 lbs per week and i absolutely know i can do that with no problem at all. its almost time to celebrate my new life. things are really starting to look up for me . my activety leval is better now than when i was a kid. "life is good!!!" thanks for your responce to my question. if you find out who your freinds dr. was let me know if you can .

I eat out often and enjoy taking home the leftover for lunch or dinner the next day. Here are some of my favorites:
Wendy's - chili
Taco Bell - soft taco supreme (yummy..)
Red Lobster's - shrimp scampi, crab legs or shrimp pasta
McDonald's - grilled chicken salad
Subway - tuna on Italian (I might have try it on a wrap next time)
Chinese Restaurants - House Yat Gaw Me (thick noodles w/chicken, pork, shrimp and a boiled egg)
Outback - Alice Spring Chicken (boneless chicken with cheese, bacon and a honey mustard sauce on top)
Ruby Tuesday's - I love the salad bar, appetizer like boneless BBQ wings, or hamburger
I could go on and on but those are just a few of my favorites....

Hi, everybody. It's looks like everyone is doing quite well! Here are my answers.
1. Pre-op/Current/Goal

2. What is your daily food intake like?
b - Nectar protein
s - slice of cheese w/ some kind of fruit
l - I eat out a lot. I usually get a salad, grilled chicken, chicken salad, or sometimes I have a fajita taco.
s - dried pineapple, this really helps my sweet tooth, or a protein bar
d - a small portion of whatever I cook for my family. We grill chicken and steak a lot.
s - more pineapple or sf ice cream bar
3. Any complications, problems or issues?
I've been really fatigued lately, but my labs are fine. Not sure what the problem is.
4. How have your family and friends adjusted to the "New You"?
My family and friends have been awesome! They are super encouraging and genuinely happy for me. I couldn't ask for better friends and family.
5. Do you think the further out you are getting that this journey is getting easier or harder? Why?
I think it's getting easier. It doesn't bother me as much when people eat sweets in front of me. It used to put me in an awful mood. I think things are looking up because I can eat a variety of things and I'm over the sugar cravings. Also, food is less important as my body shrinks! : )
6. Any advice you would like to offer....
EXERCISE! and don't get discouraged when the weight loss slows down (I'm speaking to myself right now!). That one is really hard. Mine has slowed way down with the increase of exercise, but I'm losing inches like crazy. I do wish that darn scale would move, too, though.
Topic: WOW Moment!
I went shopping at the uniform shop Friday. I needed a yellow pair of scrub pants to match a top my mom made me. Well I was looking at them trying to figure out what size to get. The sales lady asked if I needed help and I told her what I wanted and she said that I look like I would wear a size Small. Imagine that. Me wearing a size small and for someone to notice this. Well I tried them and they fit. I couldn't believe it.
