Topic: Do you ever feel...?
So I consider myself a sucess..I have gone from 394 to 278 I am sooo NOT complaining, but I feel like such a pig still! I can't help it , even going from a size 34 down to a 22 in just 7 months I look at myself and cring. I worry that I will stop loosing and be stuck here. I do make it to the gym and beides the occasional carb. eat the right way. I suppose that I just get paranoid ....wondering if anyone else is feeling the same. Thanks for your time

Sherry, I was looking at your page and we share a surgery date. I was 1 lb heavier than you were. I'm 174 lbs now. You really should put some updated pics on your site so we can see your progress. It's good to see everyone doing so well.

Go to the main message board. On the upper left hand side of your screen you will see a small blue box that reads "user settings" click on it and it will take you to where you need to go to change your picture. This is only for the picture that shows up when you post; not for the picture inside your profile.
Hope that helps!

I so love not obsessing about food every minute of the day. It's such freedom!

I'm not sure if I'll ever see it 100%, but I am sure going to try! : )

Thanks Sharon! It is really cool. I'm still recovering from hernia surgery Monday (not fun) but that little piece of good news is keeping me going. I love your tucked in shirts and funky belts - and happy husband!

Sherry, the thought of 130 is just so much fun! I too am concerned that my mind doesn't "see it" yet - will it, do you think? I have an anexoric sister and she has struggled with this mind thing for decades... wierd to imagine that I may be approaching the same problem from the other end.

I definitely don't have that problem! I have heard others say that if you really want to stop losing to up your carbs. Personally, I wouldn't worry about getting too skinny yet. I'd just do what you are doing and if you lose more, at least you'll have room for the rebound weight some people gain. I was actually hoping to get a little too thin so that when that comes back, I'd still be small. Just a thought! Congrats on your weight loss.

It's probably been since junior high for me, too. I did get down to 150 after I had my first child, but that's been 14 years ago. 130 will put me in the middle of the normal range. I don't know. It just seemed like a good place to aim! And I'm two inches shorter than you, so you would be skinnier than me at 130.
No one has seriously called me skinny yet. They say it more as a fun compliment that I'm getting there. Some do express disbelief when I say I need to lose 41 more pounds.
I know I'm much smaller, but my mind still sees a morbidly obese person at least 50% of the time. I have to really look to see my smaller self. When I finally see it, it's awesome!
