Topic: RE: Seven Month Anniversary!
Congrats! My weight loss has slowed WAY down, too. It is frustrating!
Topic: RE: Do you ever feel...?
I feel the same way. I have gone from a 24 to a 12 and still have a hard time looking in the mirror. I think our minds play tricks on us.

I added several pictures of my progress since my WLS 7 months ago. I've learned how to do a lot with my web page and I'm constantly making changes. Let me know what you think. Honest feedback appreciated.
If anyone knows how I can add a guestbook to my page, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Topic: Seven Month Anniversary!
I am glad to have made it another month. Weight Loss is still slow, still working out 4-5 times a week and lifting weights, still 6lbs from hitting 100lbs loss, but I try not to complain I guess. A dress that I bought in hopes of wearing at 6 months loss I am wearing today and I have gotten many compliments, its different than anything I would normally wear it shows off the figure which I must say looks pretty good. I am honestly in the best physical shape of my life. I am very pleased with the WL progress so far, now if everything else in my life would get right. Anywho. Happy Anniversary to my 12/21/06 babies!

Hang in there! You've had the strength and determination to go through all of this. Good things will come your way, when you are least expecting them.
Topic: RE: Question?
I didn't seem to lose a whole lot the first few weeks, 30 lbs I think. But have her measure herself and see what the difference is. She maybe surprised! It was the next 6 weeks that I jumped down the scale at a tremendous pace. I hope this will help her a little, also change some of the things she has been eating, sometimes the body just need a change to "shock" the body.
I hope this helps,

Topic: RE: anyone else having dizzy spells?
I experienced the same thing. Everytime I sit up from a lying position or stand up abrupty, I get very dizzy, the whole room goes black for a second and I feel like I'm going to throw up. IT passes ina about 1 minute, if I sit real still.
I asked my doctor about this, and he said it has to do with my blood pressure and my body getting used to losing so much weight so rapidly. Noithing to worry about, just need to remember to get up slowly. He also confirmed that dehydration and low blood sugar can also make this worse. One of the things he asked me was if I was getting some sort of sugar in my diet. I added gatorade to my diet and I have these episodes much less often.
Topic: RE: Resturant choices
I am a manager at Chili's Grill and Bar. When I'm at work, I like to order a kids grilled chicken platter with broccoli and a side of buffalo wing sauce to dip the chicken in. The plate comes with a 6 oz. portion of grilled chicken, but I usually only eat 1/2 and only a few pieces of broccoli. I take the rest home for dinner later.
My other all-time favorites are the mongolian beef from P.F. Changs, the add-on lobster tail at Outback, or the lemon pepper trout at Cracker barrel.
Topic: RE: Do you ever feel...?
I do sometimes. I just posted the other day about whinning about not getting into onederland. I think we loose focus sometimes and old habits are trying to hang in there for all its worth. Slowing down puts us into the fear mode. You and every one else are doing GREAT.
