Hi Dee,
I went from a tight 26/28 bottom and 4x top/46DDD bra down to a loose 18 tight 16 bottom and xl sometimes large top/42 D bra. I am so excited about my clothes sizes. I wish that the scales numbers were better. I'm still losing (almost at the century mark). I would like to lose another 50 to 55 pounds.
Even if I don't, I'm a happy girl!

Me Too! My co workers had to start telling me not to wear it again. Have you been shopping to see what size you can get into? I bet anything you need a smaller size than you think. Keep trying the trip is not over yet. Do you still take you shakes? How about tuna or shrimp meals for more protein?

Hi Amanda,
I am sorry you have not had sucess. All the other diets I have tired I have found ways of cheeting. I am not saying your not working your butt off but for me this surgery is what I needed. I have 'scared' myself into not trying sugar and not over filling myself because this would mean the 96lbs I lost would come back. Is there any way they could re-position it and fill it to the max so you could kinda start all over? I am not sure medically, just a sugesstion.
What I do, becasue it is hard not to overeat is grab a coffee cup and when I know I am full, but still want to eat I chew and spit it into the cup, or just eat over the sink. I know its gross, but it works for me!
Best wishes!!!!!!!

You sound like me. I kept saying I still fit into the same clothes. I did! And they were blowing in the wind. It took me looking at pictures of my self at our family reunion to see just how big those clothes were on me.
Topic: Howdy friends!!
I think all of you have done wonderful!! Although I am questioning what I am doing wrong. I have lost 65lbs since surgery 12/2/2005. I still look at myself and see the same person, I still fit into the same clothes. It is like, 65lbs hasn't made a difference in my looks. I know I FEEL better but, still, I would like to look better also. I wonder if I will hit the 100lbs lost at our 1 year anniversary. I guess I am just feeling scared, if this is it for me. Well, God bless you all-Valentina

Hi, Amanda. Have you talked to your surgeon to see if he could do a revision to an RNY? Also, you might want to post this on the "Revisions" board. Click on forums and under surgery type, choose revisions. I bet you could get lots of info from those folks.
Or, if you want to stick with the Lap Band, maybe try to get some advice from fellow post ops on this or the Lab Band forum.
Good luck to you!
