Too funny! I like your sense of humor. The article was enjoyable and entertaining to read. I felt as if you were writing about me and my experience. Thank you for sharing. Marta M. :0) 287/154/size 8 ?

Congratulations! I finally crossed the 100lb mark myself The last 4 months have really been a struggle - the slowdown is tough psychologically. 09/12/06 228 05/10/06 245 04/01/06 255 03/02/06 267 01/20/06 292 12/13/05 330 (at surgery)

I write for our local paper so seeing my name in print isn't a big deal but I wrote a story about a guy going through gastric bypass for last Sunday's paper (he's an OH member but had his surgery in June so he doesn't post here, obviously). Anyway, my editor also asked me to write a first-person column about my own experience and I was really nervous about it because it's sort of personal and I'm sort of shy to begin with but also I'd never written about myself before. As a journalist, you're always writing about others. Anyway, I decided to do it because I thought maybe it might help others going through the same thing and I thought I'd share it here just because you guys are always so supportive (and probably could relate to some of it)! here's the link: http://www.venturacountystar.com/vcs/health/article/0,1375,VCS_154_4981812,00.html

Afraid not... I never got around to getting mine... but then I haven't updated my profile since before my surgery. Guess I should do that! You might try the main message board. It seems like there's always posts at the top about how to do things.

email [email protected] Put 'century club' in the subject line. I am not sure what they need, I put my photo and member id with password. I figure if they need anything else they will email me back.

I am so slow with pictures also. My the time I get the film back I have changed again. Plus I finally gave up on putting my on the profile. It took me 9 months to finally get the energry every one else have raved about. I think my bones had a lot to do with that. My best wows are watching people that I know just walk right pass me. That is such a hoot.

Congrats Petty! Isn't it amazing how the scale goes and moves when we're least expecting it? Mine seems to fluctuate back and forth on the same few pounds all month and then drop about 5 or so at once. Weird. I'm not complaining though, as long as it keeps moving in the right direction. Boy, it's sure slowed down though!

Wish I had a digital camera..I do have one that's not worth a dime..a cheapie and I didn't want to risk my photos on it from our family reunion! I can't wait to see them! I'm still excited over all the eye popping at the reunion..no one in my family had seen me since my surgery!! It was awsome and I'm still feeling the love! I didn't want to come home..and I didn't realize how much energy I had till I went back to my home town! I ran around, just about non stop for 4 days! Never tired till It was way up into the night! I'm truely HAPPY! Thanks for listening to me GLOAT..But I want to hear everybody shout their joy, too!!!

I think I will ask for my card now also. I wanted to wait until I lost 100lbs from the time of the surgery and not from the 315. I just said a couple of days ago if I stayed at 184 I would be alright. Got oh the scale this morning and I was 182. I guess its true a watched pot will never boil. 315 highest weight that I'll own up to 182 this mornings weigh in 133 lbs gone gone gone soooooo loooonnnnggggg Babyyyyyyyy never could sing -_
