I walk Monday - Friday mornings for 45 minutes. It's about 2.5 miles. I am a member of curves, but haven't gone much since I started walking so regularly. I would like to add a Curves workout 2 times per week to my walking routine.
Great job on your exercise routine, Pat!

It would have been the whole bag and looking for dip to go with it! My dog has three legs. (Car hit him) He's 13 and I was giving him every thing I wasn't eating. I saw how fast and fat he was getting! I had to stop that too. You know it went into a power play. He didn't want to eat his food. I am eating out of saurers and really small bowls now. That helps I won't over load them

Good job Pat!
I walk about 50 min a day, and go to curves 2 or 3 times a week. That is so up from what I was doing 1 month ago!
Today we took a 5 mile walk at the ranch where I work. We found a baby calf on the wrong side of the fence from its mom and had to summon help for the poor little guy. We walked out to an old railroad bridge and wow what a workout!
Keep up the good work!

Topic: RE: HELP!!!!!! I'm losing my hair
Hi Sandy,
I haven't been losing hair, so I guess I am the exception. But my hair is very fine to begin with...if I lost any, I would be bald really quickly!
I do have a theory about it though. I have never used protein drinks or bars. I get all of my protein from real food: meats, cheese, milk, yogurt some beans. I never could stand the taste of the protein drinks and my program people said as long as I could eat the food, it was fine. I have heard that meat and dairy products are complete proteins while soy and protein powders are incomplete. So, I believe that maybe that is why I didn't lose my hair. Anyway, we will see. Maybe I am just full of baloney and I will be losing hair soon!!

Wow Pat! You are working hard. Congratulations! I feel like a slug next to you.
I am going for a brisk walk just about every day for 30-35 minutes. That's it!

How many of you exercise regularly and what do you do?
I go to the fitness center at a local state college three or four days a week. I do about 20 minutes on the treadmill, the entire weight circuit, and about 10 minutes on the stationary bicycle each time for a total of about 1.25 hours. In addition, I am about to begin an hour-long aerobics class for seniors which meets two times a week.
