You can do it, Kathy!
I did have to join the fitness center to do it, though. I can't motivate at home, and I hate walking outside...
Once you get started, it is much easier to keep on with it!

Diana,
You are doing great! I can't do anything unless I am in a "formal" exercise situation--just can't motivate at home!

Well, I gotta admit it here...
-I sometimes have potato chips on purpose, and I like them. I eat the Lays light-no fat ones and I enjoy them. (A 17 chip serving has 75 calories), they taste much better than the baked ones. Anyway, if you're like me....you would have eaten the whole bag just a few months ago. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Topic: RE: HELP!!!!!! I'm losing my hair
Well, here goes your theory Diana-I love protein shakes and bars-and haven't lost any hair either.
I have a protein shake every morning for breakfast and if I have to take my lunch to work it usually includes a protein bar. I don't take biotin either-I did for awhile-but I quit about 8 weeks ago.

Hello all, I've doing ok-down 68 pounds since my surgery date of 12/8. I work in a hospital so I wear scrubs to work-and have dropped from a 3x -4X bottom to a XL-I never thought I'd be proud of being an XL-but I am! My scrub tops are 2X down from a 4X and they are getting too big. I would like to lose at least another 75 pounds or so. I try to excercise 6 days a week-most days I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 3-3.5 mph. Sometimes I do a walk and tone-Leslie Sansone video. I don't have many problems with food-I've never dumped-never gotten sick-the only thing is if I eat something dense-like chicken or salmon-I feel like I've been eating rocks-other than that-I'm good. I still like food and I still like to eat out. I just thank the Lord for the opportunity to have this surgery and I hope I can make the best of it.

It's hard to believe that it will be 4 months in a couple days now.. holy protein shake!!
I had surgery on Dec 14th.. have lost 58 lbs thus far and therefore have 56 lbs to go to my ultimate goal of 140 (the BMI thingy say is should be like 120 because I am 5'3" but I am also realistic so 140 it is). I exercise alot and it's great to start feeling musles underneath my skin instead of fatty tissue. I'm wearing between 14w and a 16, and a XL on top.. I haven't been able to shop in the "regular" section since I was in high school so yeah.. I'm feeling "super regular" at the moment.. hehe. I don't dump and I don't have any problems with food (haven't tried anything surgary though). But, I am now just coming off a stomache bug that reverted me back to the crazy gasious days I had after sugery which frankly scared the heckahullas out of me.. thankfully that has now passed.

I do step and pump-it-up aerobics for a hour 4-5 times a week. I also try to hit the weights 2-3 times a week to get my arms in gear for my strap-less wedding dress coming in July.. hehe

I got tired of eating from 4 oz tupperware containers, so I went to the area outlet mall and bought a set of 4 demitasse cups and saucers. Now I have my own individual "bowl" and "plate", they are cute, and I can spread my selection on the plate and it looks "full". It may sound silly, but I have found it has made an improvement on my attitude and how I feel when others are filling THEIR plates etc.
