Topic: RE: Protein question
I have a question about eating chicken, beans, etc. About how much are you eating at one meal? I'm still going with the 2-3 ounce protein at a meal. Does that sound right? It is so hard to get in all the protein you need eating like that -- that's why I still drink my protein drinks. My surgery was 12/16/05.

I had my surgery 12/20/05, so I'm not far behind you.
Happy losing,

Topic: RE: Ideas for mixing protein powder...
kim, I can not drink the powdered protein drinks and I have found something WONDERFUL but a bit pricey . You can get it at a GNC store. It is Isopure Zero Carb ready made liquid protein. $3.50 a bottle of 40 gms of protein,I drink 1/2 in the mid after noon and the other 1/2 in the evening. It is just like drinking a glass of slightly tart KoolAid....I LOVE IT!!! It is my savior...try it...kathy
Topic: Ideas for mixing protein powder...
I simply cannot tolerate drinking a protein shake. I have tried mixing it with all types of things and I gag every time I drink it. Do any of you mix the protein powder into your foods? If so, what? I just got my 2nd fill and can't eat enough protein and need the powder to supplement for a few days. Thanks to all of you!
