HI Diana I am right there with you on the throw up thing. I think it is usually when I try to eat chicken or beef or anything other than soft foods frankly. Hopefully this too shall pass. Joy Great job on the weight loss!

Well today marks the 4th month. I didn't have a doctors appointment. I went in just to weigh. I call their scales legal. Mine weighs what ever it feels like that day. Remember 315lbs was the last time I got on the scale at that weight. I flat out refused to weigh again until I knew I saw a drop. Today at the clinic I weighed in at 221.9. I hate those points. So thats a total of 93.1lbs gone. 7 to go to make that first 100lb mark. But I won't ask for a card until I make a 100 gone from the day of surgery which was 279. Oh that seems such a long way away. That would be 57.1 It doesn't seem that I can make it. But hey I never thought I would get this far either. So I'm kool.

Hi, My surgery was December 6th and I have lost 85# so far. Everything is going great....no problems with any food. I did eat a chocolate kiss (just one) and had no problem with the sugar. I have about 40# to go. Have gone from a size 22/24 to a 12/14. Life is wonderful. This has been worth everything I have gone through to get here. Keep up the good work everyone!! Debbie

I blend up vanilla flavored protien with a few frozen strawberries, some milk, and a little crystal light powder...it's like a smoothie, very yummy. It's also okay mixed with yogurt or pudding

Shirly, I also use the Centrum chewables( not the senior chewables ) For B 12 I use a liquid made by Natures Bounty it has all the b's and won't hurt you as the B vits go out through the urine. I found it at Wall mart. There will soon be a nasal spray B 12 out. Tomanip

Topic: Eating out?
Hi everyone, I am HORRIBLE about packing lunches to bring to work and even when I do, I often don't feel like eating whatever I brought by the time lunch comes around so I often go out. It's really not that hard to eat like I should even at a restaurant but fast food places can be a bit trickier and since I usually go with friends, I don't always get the final say in where we end up. Anyway, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite fast food meals and hope you all have some favorites too (because I'm getting bored with the same old, same old!) Mexican food places are pretty easy for me. My faves: El Pollo Loco -- As they grill their chicken, this is a cinch but what I usually order is a taco al carbon. The whole thing is 164 calories and 13 g of protein. I usually only eat the inside (chicken, onions and cilantro) and not the tortillas it comes wrapped in, which makes it 100 cal./11g protien. And best of all, it's only $1! Rubios-- I opt for the chicken street taco --it's 110 cal/11 protein. Baja Fresh -- I get either the Baja style shrimp taco , 126 calories/12 g protein or the chichen baja style taco which is 117/12 protien. Often I'll not eat the tortilla on these ... I also love Daphne's Greek Cafe. I like to get the spicy chicken salad but it's huge s o I dump out a lot of the lettuce (too much lettuce makes me queazy anyhow,) I usually split the whole thing up over 3 meals and it's 169.3 calories/19.34 g protein for each meal (total is 509.6/58.03 for the whole thing). (This is w/o eating the pita bread they serve on the side) OK, those are my favorites. What about you all?

You know what's so awsome about this? You've already started changing your behavior! I don't know about you but before, I never bothered to think about what I ate at the end of each day. And now you are! Not only that, you recognized a problem, figured out why yt it was happening and took away the trigger. AND now you'll probably even be more aware of grazing tendencies. Yeah, you might have had a few chips you didn't intend to but it seems to me instead of messing up really badly, you are already changing old habits. WAY TO GO!
