I skimmed your profile and want to say that you are looking fantastic! I just wanted to add that I love to read as well (I get motion sickness easily)and I bought books on tape to play while I'm exercising (and I use them when I'm driving). Try www.half.ebay.com for used ones that priced pretty decent. (Half.com is owned by ebay but there's no bidding, just straight out buying.) Best Wishes! Carol

Thank you for the compliments. I'm wearing 24 pants and 26 shirts (I like a looser shirt). I wonder if maybe the board would like to do a clothing exchange where we offer to reimburse shipping? What do you think? Best Wishes! Carol

Topic: My NEW addiction!
I'm in love with loom knitting. I've always loved the look of crocheted and knitted stuff, but I'm left handed. I learned how to do both, but I've always been super slow. I went to Walmart in January and was cruising the craft aisles when I discovered a pack of four circluar coat rack looking things called Knifty Knitters. Next to it was a little instruction pamphlet. What the heck, I thought so I picked it up with a couple of skeins of yarn. I quickly found out that I am super fast with this and it's super easy. (A video of how it works is on their website (www.provocraft.com) Look for Knifty Knitter.) Now nearly 3 months later, I'm running a church mission that makes knitted hats for the babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and adult hats for soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. We've got about 14 solid members with new ones coming in and out every week. We've delivered 82 Baby Hats, 4 sets of booties, and shipped 14 adult hats overseas. This has been a wonderful hobby for me. I'm also about to start making two Harry Potter scarves and hat sets for my two nephews. I promise you I'm still working out.....lol. I just do this when I'm wanting to unwind in the evenings. Its very relaxing, and super addictive.......lol. God Bless and Happy Easter! Carol G.

My hair was thin to begin with, but now 17 weeks out I have some bald spots. I take botin and have upped my protien but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I did buy a wig and have gotten several compliments on it. My best friend said I look years younger and it makes my face look slimmer. Guess I'll keep wearing it even if my hair comes back in. Happy Easter everyone.

Hi December babies! I guess it's called onederland right? The scale read 199 this morning! So very excited. I need to celebrate but without food. In the past I always celebrated with food. Eating out at a good restaurant. I still could do this if I am careful. I usually know when to stop because being overfull is not a very good feeling. I think I might shop for clothes instead. We are all doing great! The support hear is wonderful! It's nice that we are all in this together and there for each other. Happy Easter to all. Miriam 248/199/140

Start Weight: 304 Current Weight: ~251.5 My scale has moved upwards 9lbs since a week ago. I have an appointment with my PCP next week because this is driving me I track my calories and stay under 1,200. I am now exercising every day...walk briskly between 30-45 minutes. I feel great! I was so proud yesterday when I zipped up those 16W low-riders and they fit really well. I was even prouder last night when I walked 2 miles in 35 minutes (outside mostly uphill). My net loss this month is only 1lb! Chauncine

Topic: RE: HELP!!!!!! I'm losing my hair
I am loosing my hair too. My surgery was December 6, 2005. I am not good about keeping track of my protein but something is causing the hair to go. I have handfuls after I shower and wash the hair. Thank the good Lord he gave me plenty to start with. I take Biotin everyday. My nails are doing great so I think it is just from the surgery. I never thought I would be able to blow dry my hair this fast. It is getting pretty thin. Hope this loss stops soon and the weight loss continues. 85# and counting. Debbie
