Topic: RE: Does anyone still hurt when they eat?
I too still hurt when eating, different foods and different days. My pain does not have a pattern either. It just happens. One reason, like you, is because I eat too fast and too much. When these pains occur, I usually have to lay down for about 30 minutes. It is hard to go out to dinner because I never know when it will happen. I just have to be really careful when eating. This keeps me in check from my old eating habits of overeating and eating the wrong type of foods.

I definitely think that the bariatric multi vitamins are the best to take. I have been taking them since my surgery, but I have to admit I do feel tired a lot though. I have added B12 shots also in addition to my calcium and fish oil, I also take iron. U may want to check to see if ur iron levels are low, that could also be a factor. Check out www.buildingblocks.com they have a gr8 variety of bariatric vitamins.
GOOD LUCK

Yes I do still hurt a lot when eating certain foods, but I do think it's because I tend to still ru**** sometimes, i still, unfortunately, have to throw up in order to get rid of the feeling. I think it's going to be like that for us for the rest of our lives, which is fine with me as long as I stay healthy, fit and slim!!
Take care and talk to ur doc if it persists especially if u haven't eaten that particular meal quickly. I purchased some papaya chewables from GNC which I keep in my purse at all times, it sometimes helps with the digestion, you may want to get some.

Topic: Does anyone still hurt when they eat?
I had my surgery on 12/16/05. I still have pain sometimes when I eat. I just ate some fish and am hurting quite a bit. I may have eaten a little too fast, but not enough to hurt this much. I did have an ulcer early on and I understand they can still act up from time to time. Does anyone still have pain when eating certain things, or maybe from one day to another. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Thanks.

Congratulations JoAnne! You give me inspiration to go back to the basics because I have been at a stand still for the last 6 months or so. I know that its that evil sugar that I am addicted to. But, I am going to get serious and make this tool work for me. I didn't get this far to stop now. Thanks for the posts!

I take my vitamins from the bottle they came in. I was thinking of trying the Bariatric Vitamins that you can buy from this site..maybe they will help me feel better..maybe they have something that the over the counter vitamins are lacking..

I crashed on Flinstone's 3 times...once was enough. I dont know what it was, the only thing I can think of is the air got to it and turned it brownish in color (a few specks), are you taking the vitamins directly out of the bottle, or putting them in a weekly container? I found when I take them directly out of the bottle I am ok. Putting them in the weekly (pop up lids) containter (I hope you know what I mean by this) I was feeling the same way you do.

Great job JoAnne. You are proof that even after a year the tool still works.
