That's why I'm singing praises.... 
There is no way I would've been able to get in and out of the rides. No way I could've handled the miles and miles of walking. We left in the morning and didn't come home until park closing.
It was very hot last week. This summer please be careful. Bring a stroller and purchase a spray bottle before you get there (they charge $16 at the parks). They have little fountains that the little ones jump around in to get cool. I'd recommend one of those filtered water bottles for everyone in the family to refill at the water fountains.
The one thing that surprised me about parents with little ones is their forcing the kids to ride on totally inappropriate rides. Just because the kid is tall enough doesn't mean they should go on the rides. 
Isaiah was 3 when I took him to Disneyland...he was a mess by mid-afternoon. I saw parents with newborns in the heat. We went on this ride called 'Dinosaur' and there was a man with his 4 year old daughter ahead of us. She was frightened in the line. On the ride, my 9 year old closed his eyes and let out high pitched screams. This little girl just sobbed and wailed. He told her to be quiet. 
After the ride, she was just shaking. I wanted to slap him silly. We went up to her and told her that she was very brave. He rolled his eyes at us.

I get in a lot of protein every day and it is not working. I just hate I'll be wearing wigs in the hot Texas heat

I know how you feel. As I type this I look down at my keyboard and 3 strands of hair look back at me. I had my surgery Dec 5 and saw the Dr last week. He said, make sure you have at least 70 grams of protien some in my support group get about 80. At the 4 month mark your body has realized the shock to your system and it will take a while to get back to normal(what ever normal is)The nurse says at the 10 month mark things should be better. I drink 2 protien shakes also I went to GNC and bought liquid protien fruit punch and mix it with 8oz Hawiian punch light (made with splenda) 3 Tbs equals 18 gms not to bad. Also cheese sticks and beef jerkey. God bless Susan Setterstrom WI

Topic: Hit ONEderland on my 5 month anniversary!
Boy did I get a sweet surprise this morning! It is the 5 month anniversary of my Dec. 1st surgery and I weighed in at 199 this morning!! I know so many of you already know what I am feeling this morning and so many of you will soon know yourselves this excitement. It's just incredible! It's a beautiful day here today, I think I will celebrate by going on a walk!!

Seriously, it's just a little so far but I've been noticing it for about a week. I'm trying to up the protein a little but I just can't stand the protein shakes. Any suggestions? (aside from shakes)

Ditto what Sunny said. The bottom line is call the doctor. Is it near your "time of month"? Add that to slight anemia and you could have your culprit.

You look amazing!! Sounds like you guys had a great time (besides the slight heat stroke). We're planning on taking my 3 year old to Disneyland this summer. I want to ride every ride!! It's mind-boggling how much our health has improved in a few short months. I hope my family can keep up with me. Keep up the great work!! Your little boy is so handsome!!
