OK math lady....you and my grandson and the numbers. Thing is you are both ALWAYS right. I don't even try anymore I just ask him. Now if I can't find him I'll just ask you. Did mine 165-120 = 45 X .25 = 11.25 + 120 = 131.25 per day So I think I am covering that in a day easy. I still do a protein drink every morning. I have to drink tha****er or the weight won't come off. Right now being tall I am very happy where I am. When I tell people that ask I weigh 165 they don't believe me. If I don't drink the water I will not maintain and gain. It is so easy to put food into my mouth instead of a drink of water. I'll be on the water wagon the rest of my life if I intend to stay this size.

Dang Girl........you look great. I love the ARMS!!!!!! Wish I could get mine done. I am so self conscience of them. When they were bigger then my thighs I stayed in tank tops. Now that they are bat wings I try to hide them all the time. Don't know what I am going to do when it hits the 100's. OK OK OK I really tried to leave it alone. So kill me. ha hah hah......I can now see your stair case. I can tease because I have pictures like that also. Now you can see my DECK!!!!!

Hi Petty! It is so great to hear you are doing so well! How is the shoulder? I had to have a pelvic hernia fixed about 8 weeks ago - boy that was something else to heal from! But at the same time I had a tummy tuck and labia repair which all healed fine. I've been released to go back to my "normal" life so am starting to run again and got my bike out now that the weather is warming up finally. I hope to do a 10 K by the end of the summer - we'll see! Enjoy your mobility! Diona

How much protein are you getting in each day? With the malabsorption issues (which it sounds like you are having) you should get at least 100 grams a day if not more. Try adding a couple more protein drinks in each day and see if that helps. The formula for figuring out how much protein you need is: Subtract 120 from your current weight. Multiply that answer by .25 and add it to 120. Base your protein needs on that number. Extra protein is not needed for fat mass. (Sally Myers, R.D. regular contributor to WLS-related newsletter 'Beyond Change') With your numbers: 260-120 = 140 x .25 = 35 + 120 = 155 grams/day. I know it sounds like a lot! But give it a try. One bottle of Isopure (20 ounces) has 40 grams of protein. You can get that at GNC. There is also a new vial out that has 25 grams per 3 ounces. ALso make sure you are getting enough water based liquids in! Diona

I had my arms done 3 weeks ago and each of my wings weighed 1 lb, so I'm down 2 lbs from that, but I know once I have my legs done, it will be HUGE weight removed... the legs are the worst! I posted new pics, one before, and one after.... if anyone's interested!

Topic: PS Insurance!! Please Help!!
I'm 16 months out and just visited the PS for the initial evaluation. Here's my insurance dilemma. Any feedback about these companies or your experiences are welcome. I currently have BCBS through Empire Blue Cross, but I'm leaving my job and the benefits end 4/30. Instead of cobra, I plan to go on my husband's insurance, Aetna HMO. I am starting a new job which will offer insurance after 90 days, so that's August. According to what I see here, and the PS office, can take 60 days to approval. I didn't want to cobra BCBS because of the money, but my history with them has been that they approve and I just don't know enough about Aetna and the new job is just too far away to know anything (I start next week so don't know about insurance yet). Help!! What should I do?? I know they are not all the same and PS says there has been dramatic cut back and only about 25% is approved now and I can't afford to do it on my own. All feedback is welcome. Thanks for your help. Carol

Topic: RE: Long - beating myself up/update/needing a little bit of support
Its getting hard for every one I think. My problem and I am sure it is for others. The water in take. Which helped keep us full longer. Thats fine when you are at home and not on a JOB!!!!! You just can't run to the bathroom every 15/30 minutes. They want to know if you are sick? No? Then why are you ALWAYS going? I was doing really good at least what I thought was good. I eased, no, I snacked back up to 172. I don't have problem being there but I know I could be 160 now it I didn't let my hands over load my mouth which is over loading my aicesssss. In my other post I talked about being a coupon queen again. Well I know that is a big down fall for me. I realized it and I am getting on a better track with that. Sure it was good to get bags of Chex Mix for 50 cents but not when I AM the one eating all of it. I need, no, I WILL leave the snack coupons alone and get whats really needed in the home and only healthy stuff. I am saving my purse strings but getting way off track with my snacking. I know this was my problem. I am a snacker. I don't stop and eat meals. I want to walk around with what I call finger foods. Ok lets get up and try it again. At least we are admitting we messed up. So lets go back to rehab and come back out the next day and say we look fabuLESS
