Topic: RE: I've been in rebellion....
Susan, Hey, I am so sorry to hear that you are having a rough time. I think the first thing you need to do is get rid of the scale. Have someone in your home hid it from you. Getting on the scale everyday I think is alot of our problems. I have done it as well. I would weigh at least twice a day. When the scale would not move, I would get so discouraged and be ready to cry. I had to have someone take it away from me. Now, I only get on it once a week, at the same day each day of the week. I do not know about everyone else, but I too have eaten food I knew I should not eat. I did not go all out about it, but I did do it. I am glad that you have gotten it out of your system, and who knows it may have been something your body needed. Get back on track, stay away from the scale, and I think everything will be fine. Hope you have a good day. Melissa

Topic: I've been in rebellion....
for the past two days. I've been at a stand still with my weight loss for 2 weeks. So I thought, I'm not doing something right. I'll be really honest and tell you I haven't had to work to hard or be really strict with my diet up till now. I decided I'd get really focused and make a effort to eat and drink and do exactly what I was supposed to do and still...nothing. That needle in the scale has'nt moved one inch. Arrgh!! I'm so so so frustrated and underneath that, worried that maybe I won't be able to lose any more. And to top that off, I can't stay away from the scales. I'm so stressed out I can't stand it. Soooo....I rebelled. I won't list all the stuff I ate that I wasn't supposed to, you'll just have to trust me on this. I've been bad. Oh, and I've also found out I don't dump. Not so far anyway. Of course, you can only do so much damage after surgery but let me tell you, in the old days it would have been an all out binge. I think I've got it out of my system though. I'm still really discouraged right now and not sure what to do other that to take a hammer to my scales. I'm just really frustrated and needed to vent. Tomorrow, I'll get back on track. I guess I needed to confess my sins to started with a clean slate. SO I guess I won't be having any cheese with my whine. Has anybody else been where I'm at? Please tell me it will pass!

Topic: RE: FINALLY - FINALLY - FINALLY - the scale is moving AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Sharon!! I am so happy for you. I SOOO know the feeling of the stall, I haven't had much movement for the last few weeks. I am kicking up the protein and exercise and still haven't seen it move, it gets SOOO frustrating, but I am working through it. I know it will move again! Congrats again on onederland!!! LaRae

Ebony I have to argee with Melissia. I wasn't taking in enough calories and the weight stopped. When I upped the calories I moved again. I think your body will go in a stavation mode and hold on to every pound. Not a doctor but I don't know if this is such a good idea. You say you will be 6 months June 21, girl your 5th month ain't here yet. Just hold on Miss Super Fine you'll get where you want to be with out making your self sick.

Ebony, Congrats to you on the amount you have lost. I am not sure about going back to fluids at this point. I just do not think you can get in all your protein and calories that you need by simply taking in all fluids. That is just my opinion. Have you tried upping your protein, and also even though it sounds wierd adding a few more calories. My doctor said to me that I was starving my body but not getting in enough calories. At the time, I refused to get in more than 500. And, before surgery I am sure that I was getting in more than 2500 to 3000 a day. This is only my opinion, please talk with your surgeon or your nut. Topic: RE: How much b12 do I need?
Lynn, I personally get a b12 shot once a month. That is all my surgeon requires. But, I also know people who not only get the b12 shot, the also take the b12 supplement. Melissa

Ok, here is the deal I have decided to go straight liquids for the next two weeks. My coworker, who has been by my side since fighting with Aetna thinks this is crazy as I barely eat now. I don't think I am being "crackheadish" as she said, but I want to go back to the basics to help boost my loss. I will admit, I will be six months out on June 21 and I am less than 20lbs from hitting 100lbs. Do you think I am taking it to the extreme with this?
