Thanks for the replies. I had my 6th month check up and I am officially down 82lbs. Doctor seemed to think that about another 35 to 40lbs would be what I could be looking at by my one year mark. But as I said before---it is all just a number now. Thanks again for replying..

I am so sorry that you caught this awful stuff. Bill and Krissy had it about a month ago, it was miserable for them. I am just grateful that I did not get it. I haven't been online for a while so didn't see your post until tonight. Hope you are feeling much better and I know you and your grandson will just be thrilled when the incubation period is over. I know it is just as hard on you to be away from him.

I am 29 years old I have not had diabeties or any thing like that around 3 weeks ago I started getting a burning feeling in my feet now there is also pain the doctors think I have neuropathy but all my labs are good they are sending me to a Nurologist does any one have any ideas o I have lost 131 lbs since my surgery 12-29 my family thinks it from losing to fast but I am in alot of pain please is there any one out there to help! 341/210/170

Hey Melissa,
I felt the same as you, now I can take the kids out to eat and not take it home. I hit ONEderland last week, so 40 lbs or so till goal! Yesterday when I took my little ones to the doctor I was actually on the floor playing with them. Not standing over them saying 'dont do that or put it there'. I felt like a better parent and didnt think twice about being on the floor! Other than how we are looking there is SO much more to life now!!!

OK, if there is something wrong with you...then there is something wrong with me. I'm in the exact same place as you. I don't think I'm loseing fast enough either. I hit a stall that lasted 6 weeks! Looks like I'm in another one too! I'm just sticking to the diet and exercise plan. That is all I can do.

Congrats to you for the weight loss and about graduating college. That is awesome. I was wondering if your surgeon would let you take B1 and B12 pills. You can get them at any pharmacy. I hate that you have to drive all that way just to get injections. I hope everything works out for you.

Topic: Tell me something new
Hey everyone, I hope this week has started out well for everyone.
Lets see something new, I did my weekly weigh in on Monday and I am down to 248lbs. It feels great. I only have another 66lbs to go until goal.
I am still having back problems, and now I have done something to my Rotor Cuff in my arm. I am sure that everything is going to work out well.
Went to the park yesterday with my daughter, I actually climbed the playground equipement and went down the slide with her a few times. That was really awesome.
I went today and had lunch with her. In the past I always felt bad about doing it because I did not want her friends to make fun of her because of me. Today I felt very comfortable about being there.

You are doing great! Keep up the good work! Those 18.5 pounds will be done in no time and it may be more. Don't worry with the scale, keep active and watch those pounds fall off real fast. Like Becky said: it may not be today or tomorrow but its going to happen.
