Hi
I am sure at some point you will catch up to me, but in the mean time be proud of your 81 pounds lost because that is totally awesome.
Take care

Totally understand. I am a writer for our local paper and was kind of hesitant too, though I didn't keep it a secret at work or anything. Now I'm actually writing an article about gastric bypass and the editor has asked if I'd also write a first-person column to go along with the article... Guess the cat will be out of the bag then! Not really worried about it though. Hopefully it can help some people.
(By the way, I got to actually be in the operating room observing the surgery last Monday. It was the coolest thing ever!)

Topic: 6 month update
It has been six months since I had my surgery today. I have lost 130 pounds. There has been so many changes. I have started a blog and I have also started a photo album online to record everything. I am not sure if I can post URL's on my post so if you want to see either one, send me email and I will send you the link.
I hope you are all doing well.
Take care
Erin
Topic: Start @ 315#s
Hello! I'm a Feb. loser who's curious to know how those of you (the ladies of course) who started at 315 have been doing? I just kind of want to know what to expect at 6 months. I also have a couple of other questions:
Do you exercise?
What do you do for exercise?
How long & how many times a week?
How much water are you drinking?
Any odd changes that have occurred since surgery?
What's your best WOW moment so far?
Thanks in advance for any *****ply.
Elisa

Awww thanks Sharon, that's so nice of you!
And when are you going to put some pictures up so we can see your pretty face?

Let us know when the card is on your profile so we can go stare at it
GOOD WORK and I hope you are feeling better

Oh that is funny. You are like the Citi Bank ID theft. EXcept IT IS YOU!
Great going and I guess we better all look at the photos. I shop at the same place all the time so no one pays attention to my photo. Never crossed my mind if I go some where else.
Oh did you get your new clothes or did they put you out of the store
LOL
Topic: Silly wow
Just thought I'd share a funny wow... Went to buy some new clothes the other day -- as \ I was tired of constantly pulling up all my old pant and when I went to pay with my credit card, the sales lady looked and looked at it and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Finally she said, pointing to the photo on it, "This isn't you." I thought she was just being nice and I said, "Yeah, I've lost some weight since then," thinking that would be enough but she was serious. She really didn't think it was me. She insisted on seeing my driver's liscense too, though I pointed out it also looks like the old me. I guess it's time to retake some photos...s
