Hi, Friends! Today is my six month anniversary. Tomorrow I see my surgeon. I started at 311 last fall and this morning I weighed 234. I have lost 77 lb. total. I feel like a slow loser, and, for the entire month of June, I was on a stall, moving down and up through the 230s. I know I am doing OK, but it is frustrating, especially as I also gained inches... I am eating right and exercising three to four days a week, using the treadmill, exercise bike, and weight machines. I take in about 1000 calories a day and burn about 3800 calories a day. I wish I were losing more quickly! However, I saw my PCP Monday, and he is very pleased with my progress and doesn't want me to lose any faster than I am. *sigh* I need to lose another 55 lb. to meet my surgeon's goal, but I would like to lose another 75 lb. at least. Who knows? At least I am now in a size 1X or 18-20 rather than a 3X or 4X! I have more energy as well. I can walk comfortably again. I thank God for giving me this chance for a longer, healthier life! HUGS to all! Pat

Every one has been getting on me for wearing my clothes too big ALL DA TIME. SOOOO I put on a dress that really fits. Guess What!!!! I have curves!!!!! not straight up and down. But CURVES. I just stood in front of the mirror and turn this way. Now turn that way. I think at that moment if I had a cat walk I would have out walked Tyra Banks. Now turn turn smile work it baby CURVES
