I walked up until a month ago when I joined the gym. I do a variety of things, but usually stick to what burns the most calories. I especially love the arc total body trainer. It's like an eliptical machine, but slightly different to give you a total body workout. Best wishes to you! Sherry 259/173.5/130

Hi, there. I will be praying God will send some great people into your life! Are you involved in a support group? That's a great way to make friends! Also, I have made some of my best friends at my church. I'm not sure what your beliefs are, but most churches have singles groups. In addition to their weekly meetings, they have scheduled outings and you just might meet that special person. I'm sorry you are feeling so low and I will keep you in my thoughts. Congratulations on your weight loss. Sherry

Let me first say that having WLS has been the most amazing thing to ever happen to me in my life, newbies or pre-op. Please do not be discourage by what I am about to say. I must first say I was blessed to have a great surgeon and at least ONE coworker turned good friend that supported me along the way as I try to reach my goal. Right now I am stuck at 90lbs loss in 6 months. I work out a lot and lift weights and as I have been told many times that may be why I haven't hit 100lbs lost eventhough most people look at me and think I have. Hell I wish! While my health has improved greatly and I am appreciative everyday that I can walk up my stair without pain. My skin doesn't break out at night anymore, I don't have high blood pressure anymore, I can sleep at night finally. I am still not happy. The past few weeks have been a challenge for me. I have had a lot of outside factors interfering with my life. The biggest issue for me to be honest is that I am 24, I am single, no friends, no boyfriend, no nothing. I work, I workout, I go to school, I come home. I know this is so corny, but I am really at my witts end with traveling life on "Single Road" I really don't know what I am trying to say or what I mean, but I will say this, if you have someone in your life that is a great support system and truly loves and cares about you and is NOT hurting you in shape form or fashion. Hold on tight, you have been blessed with a gift that many people wish they had. Have a great day.

No limitations right now. In the beginning.. Doc only said to watch the ab crunches.. that's about it. I now work out at a gym because it helps me focus.. I'm the person who can't get motivated at home to workout regardless of the videos and other workout paraphernalia strewn all about.. hehe. I usually do step classes and pump it up classes because you work your mind out trying to remember all the moves and then you say to yourself afterwords.. wow I can't believe I just worked out for the last hour. I like that!! I also do weight training because I like that power feelings from that. I've also recently taken to jogging.. which is pretty empowering because there was no way I could ever do that before. When picking out exercise.. I usually go for whatever makes me feel best.. I don't do anything that I don't like (bike shtuff) and I always switch it up and keep it fresh. Hope this helps.. April R 264/254/177/140esch

Topic: RE: Bras
I bought two bra's from VS. One that I LOVE, a full coverage T-shirt bra and the otherone, I hate because it's a plunge T-shirt bra and the girls fall out of it.. The bra's are not really padded, but lined and stiff..Both are underwire.

D.S. thank you for your reply. Congratulations on your loss, I think that's awesome! Water is definitely something I struggle with as well. I printed a calendar to keep track of my water intake because it's so important, especially during the summer when dehydration is common where I'm from. I can't wait to get to a size 16, hopefully soon. I wish you the best and keep up the great work. Elisa

Wow Pat it sounds like you are doing terrifically! I'm going to be 5 months on the 13th and so far I've lost 65#s. I'm working on exercising more because I know that will help me lose more. Thank you so much for the reply your hard work is really inspiring. Elisa

Topic: RE: Bras
I too was having trouble finding a bra to support my girls. I had tried all kinds of bra from Wal-Mart but they just didn't measure up. Yesterday I went to Victoria's Secret and purchased their padded Very Sexy Bra. I was so happy with the results I received, I told the sales girl that helped me that I was about to cry because my girls was sitting up all perky. I couldn't believe it. The bra was pricey, but well worth it. Georgia Girl 248/195/?????
