I thought it would be encouraging for all the December people to report on how we have been doing. We are in our 4th month since surgery...how's it going? How much weight have you lost? How much are you exercising? How many pounds do you have to your goal (if you have one). Here's mine: Had surgery on Dec 27. I have lost 61 lbs since surgery and 71 since I began this journey. I exercise about 5 days a week and I just take a brisk 35 minute walk. If my goal weight is 130, I have 90 more pounds to lose (that seems like a lot). Since I am only 5'1", I guess I am supposed to get there, but I can't remember EVER weighing that!! Diana

Hi Diana, My surgery was on December 20th. I have lost 73 pounds and seem to be on a plateau. I had a lot of trouble eating until about 1 week ago, but I am finally feeling better and eating better. My goal is 150 so I have 48 pounds to lose. Good luck, and God bless you all. Judy

Hi! I just went over my 4 month date. I have lost 73 lbs, & gone from tight 30/32 shirts to size 22, and pants from elastic 30/32 to size 24 jeans or size 22 with elastic waists. I still have 96 lbs to go, but hey at least it is under 100 lbs to go now, and I weigh a weight I have not seen in over 13 years!! I do water exercises 3 times a week for 35-40 minutes, but have not done it this week due to a very bad respiratory infection. I just started my last 2 classes at College, graduate in June, my program GPA is 4.0 and cumulative of everything I have ever taken there is 3.75 so I get to wear honor cords at graduation!!! Blessings.....

It's hard to believe that it will be 4 months in a couple days now.. holy protein shake!! I had surgery on Dec 14th.. have lost 58 lbs thus far and therefore have 56 lbs to go to my ultimate goal of 140 (the BMI thingy say is should be like 120 because I am 5'3" but I am also realistic so 140 it is). I exercise alot and it's great to start feeling musles underneath my skin instead of fatty tissue. I'm wearing between 14w and a 16, and a XL on top.. I haven't been able to shop in the "regular" section since I was in high school so yeah.. I'm feeling "super regular" at the moment.. hehe. I don't dump and I don't have any problems with food (haven't tried anything surgary though). But, I am now just coming off a stomache bug that reverted me back to the crazy gasious days I had after sugery which frankly scared the heckahullas out of me.. thankfully that has now passed.

Hello all, I've doing ok-down 68 pounds since my surgery date of 12/8. I work in a hospital so I wear scrubs to work-and have dropped from a 3x -4X bottom to a XL-I never thought I'd be proud of being an XL-but I am! My scrub tops are 2X down from a 4X and they are getting too big. I would like to lose at least another 75 pounds or so. I try to excercise 6 days a week-most days I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 3-3.5 mph. Sometimes I do a walk and tone-Leslie Sansone video. I don't have many problems with food-I've never dumped-never gotten sick-the only thing is if I eat something dense-like chicken or salmon-I feel like I've been eating rocks-other than that-I'm good. I still like food and I still like to eat out. I just thank the Lord for the opportunity to have this surgery and I hope I can make the best of it.

Hi Diana, I had surgery 12/13/05. I have lost 66.5 pounds as of last week. I would like to make the century mark by 05/13/06, 33.5 more pounds to go. I do not really know what my goal weight is. I thought it was 185 but I am not sure. I went from a size 26/28 tight to a size 20 comfortable 18 tight. I only dreamed about being in a size 16 again and it is right around the corner. This is so coooooool! Exercise on the other hand is not so cool. I still hate it and I always will. I walk 2-4 times a week for 1 1/2 each time. May not sound like much but for me , what's a miracle. Hi Diana, I had my surgery on 12/22/05. I started at 248 5'1". I am now down to 202. I can't wait to be under 200lbs. I haven't had any problems with any food. I did get tired of the protein shakes so I am doing everything I can to get my protien in with real food. I go to Curves at least 4x a week and have started walking outside now that the weather is better. I am going to start going to the gym as soon as my work badge is accessed. (we have a gym at work for employees) My goal weight is 140 but would really just like to be in a size 10 pants or jeans. And size M tops. I wear scrubs at work and I am in size M pants and M tops. I was in XL pants and XL tops. It feels great!!!!! Everyone keep up the good work. We are all doing great! Miriam
