I packed everything I needed so I would not be in a bind if I could not get grilled chicken, refried beans etc. Driving in the car was ok, but the first day at Disneyland watching all the cotton candy, ice cream, carmel apples, french fries, huge corn dogs etc... was hard. But it got better. Fit on all the coasters there and at Knotts Berry Farm and was so excited, worried about one with a warning about not all body types fitting, but it was fine. I lost 5 more pounds while gone, total of 73 now. And I weigh less than 240 YEAH !!! I can not remember being at that weight for at least 13 years or maybe more...Got a new swimsuit and wore in the hot-tubs, too !! Blessings to everyone.

When was the last time you lost 5 lbs on vacation.. hehe.. that is so freakin' cool!! Congrats on the rides.. I can't wait to go an amusement park this summer and fit this time.. I got kicked off a ride in front of everone last year because I didn't fit.. it was was my final fat straw to actualizing my WLS journey. Great Job on the -73 lbs.. that is amazing.. truly.. and even on vacation.. I'm still mystified.. hehe April

Pam, I'm going to Walt Disney World for the first time in 16 days. I am so excited. The only problem is that I have to get new summer clothes because nothing fits anymore. I have drawers full of size 22/24 shorts. I cried when the scale finally dropped before 250lbs this week. I hope I lose 5 more lbs before I go... Chauncine

Girl don't worry about those 5lbs. When you get though walking in that SMALL park you'll loose more than 5 I know how you feel about the clothes. I have been taking up what I can and then have to admit I have to give the rest away. I loved this way too tight denim dress. It seemed like last week I tried it on and said two more weeks and it'll fit good. I tried it on yesterday. I looked like a little kid playing in her mothers clothes.

Pretty, We've already talked about how hard it is to give up on the too big clothes. I can't sew a lick and find myself needing the basics. My support group members have been wonderful with sharing work-clothes. If any one needs 22/24's...I have a lot of clothes that have never been worn. I never saw a size 20W. My 18Ws are getting big and I'm purchasing 16Ws. I will never be comfortable with tightly fitted clothes. Do they button? Yes. Can you do a squat and not have a wardrobe malfunction? Yeah, sorta. Can you bend without passing out? Maybe. For those that are shopping, Sears has Spring clearance items as low as $1.99 (you should see my cute pair of 16W gauchos). Unfortunately, summer clothes are still full-price. I'm going to the Resale shops this weekend. Do they sell plus-sized clothes? Chauncine
