It's been a full four months for me, my surgery was December 2nd!
Height: 5' 6"
Stats: Starting weight: 288
Weight today: 212
Lost:76 pounds
I go back to the doctor on Thursday for a checkup, my only complaints are acid reflux, and the weight loss has slowed down so much. I had hoped I would be at the ONEderland by now.
Take heart my dear Wendy - I had lapband on 12/29/05 and have lost 25 pounds as well. We aren't supposed to lose as fast as those RNY folks! Inches are a bigger thing for me though. And, I don't think I will have to worry about a lot of loose skin. I think the slower loss is giving my skin time to "bounce back". I know it's frustrating when we can "taste" thinness but we'll get there! It took me 25 years to get to 217 pounds, I can't expect to get back to 135 in 3 months. Hang in there!!!

Pre-op weight - 284
current weight - 220
5'4" total loss so far 64.
I have gone from a 24W to a 16W.
This is awesome. People I haven't seen in awhile don't recognize me. Does anyone have problems with immediate family members (like mom, sisters, aunts) not acknowledging your weight loss? It gets frustrating. I know I did this for myself but it still feels good to get compliments.
Day of Surgery: 12/21/2005
Weight morning of Surgery: 281 lbs
Current Weight: 218.5 (as of last wednesday)
Total Loss (so far): 62.5 lbs
Goal: 156 lbs at 5'8 -- I'm exactly half way there! Only another 62.5 lbs to go! I've dropped from a (very, very) tight size 24 down to a Walmart 18 misses. It was very exciting! And I bought a size Large sweater from H&M! Congratulations to all of us LOSERS!
