In what ways.......
I was just wondering in what ways our lives have changed since having surgery.
1. I am now on the road to a healthier life
2. I can play with my daughter
3. When I get into bed it does not sound like its going to break
4. I have a face, not that I did not before, but now its visible
5. I no longer live to eat, I eat to live
6. I have began a new life
7. I am happy
8. Finally I think I know what I want out of life.
9. I can buy clothes in regular stores
10. I can cross my legs
11. I feel sexy
12. I can move around more
This is just part of a list I could go on forever.

I don't really think my life has changed all that much, YET. I know that I am a role model for more people than I ever expected. I can move better (w/ less pain), but still not as good as I want. I still sometimes eat because I want to enjoy the taste, but then end up disappointed. I still want to eat more than I physically can, but I am getting better. More and more, I just eat because I have to. My other goals are still down the road a bit, but I know I'll get there. And, as a plus, I think that when I do reach my goals, I will have helped and inspired others to start their own road to healthier lives. That thought really helps me on my journey. Everyone here should know that they are really helping others as well. Melissa, I know that you have really helped me. Ya done good, girl!
