Hi Lori, You are doing great! Whenever have you been able to lose that much weight in so short a time. My surgery was December 20th and I'm down 63 pounds (over half way to my goal).

I had my surgery on Dec 29 and have lost 90 lbs so far. I have gone from 480 to 390. My BMI has dropped from 82.3 to 66.9. I've lost 19% of my body weight. That might be a better way of looking at things as we all started at different weights.

Wow! I am sure glad I asked. So many of us doing so well!!! There are some who have lost more, ( congrats to you) but I can see that I am about average now. We should do a weigh in every so often. Thanks for all the feedback!

I had my surgery on 12/2 and just had my 3 month check up on Friday. I am down 39.5 pounds. The doctor was thrilled. Said, wow 31% of the weight you have to lose, half way to your year goal of 65% (of weight to lose). I am so depressed. By everyone's results, you can see I am the slowest. Sally 266/226.5/137

Hello , My surgery was on 12/20 and I am down from 320 to 257 I am so proud of this 63 pounds. We joined the gym the first of January ,and for the first time in my life I have stuck with it.When I started at the gym I could barely do 3 or 4 minutes on the bike, and I really thought I was dying. Now I do 25 treadmill 20 bike and some toning weight. This surgery truly has been a blessing to me.I have no more hypertension and my diabetes is at normal levels.I thank God for this chance and my surgeon is a gem also. Thanks for listening, Beth

Sally don't be depressed. They have said the lower your weight the harder it is to come off. I don't know how tall you are but if I ever thought I could get to 266 I would have been dancing in the streets. I have been on a stall for about two weeks now. I really think its because of the medicine they have me on for my boil. You can taste the sugar. And you are HALF WAY!!!!!! I bet a lot of us that have lost more are not half way
