I was wondering if there was anyone who had surgery the end of December. I had surgery Dec. 27th and have lost 50lbs. so far. Where is everyone else. I feel like I am losing slower than most. ???

I had surgery on the same day as you did and I just weighed myself today and I have lost 48 lbs so you are doing better than me! I think we are OK.

Me too December 27, and have lost 46 since surgery. Remember we all started different and our bodies metabolize different. Go us!

I had surgery on Dec. 28th and have lost 42.5 pounds - so you are doing great! Diona

Great reports!!! My surgery was Dec 9 I have gone from 55 to 44.4 BMI and lost 58 lbs. At 5'3 it sure has made a difference!!! My daughter lives in the midwest and had surgery a month before me and has lost 88 lbs!!!

KUDOS to all of us!! My surgery was DEC 21. I am about 10 weeks out. I have lost 39 pounds. Not as much as I would have liked. I guess it will be slower than I thought. But, I feel great and it is going in the right direction. Went from a size 20 to a 16! Can't wait to get to a 14 and shop in the regular stores. That will be my Wow! moment! 5'2" 227.5/188.5/118

I had my surgery at the beginning of December and am at 61 pounds lost. It's amazing to fit into a size 18 now I think it's been YEARS and YEARS since my size didn't begin with a "2." Congratulations to everyone for their WLS success!

I had surgery (VG) on Dec. 27th and have lost 39 pounds... I had a one month stall and am stalling again! So I am always playing "catch up". Which in the long run, makes me a slow loser.

Hi Lori Good for you - you are doing great! We all lose at a different rate. I had surgery 12/16/06 and as of this morning (11 weeks post -op) I have lost 49 lbs pounds. I had lost 16 pounds two weeks before surgery, so I count it as 65 lbs. Keep up the great work and welcome to the losing side!

I went into surgery at 279. This week I am at 234. I have been taking a medicine for a REALLY BAD BOIL. You might have seen my post this pass Monday on the main board. Well it is liquid for a child and it has sugar in it. I thought I had gained taking this. So I hope to be back on track when I finish this awful tasting stuff. No wonder babies run when they see you coming with a spoon and brown bottle.
