What are your stats? Pre-op/Current/Goal Pre op my highest weight and I have to be honest when I hit 315 I flat out refused to get on the scale and took control of my weight. I was eating cookies into my grave. 315/234/????? I really don't know where I want to loose to. I am having a hard time seeing me now this size. Where ever it stops I will be happy. I can say now I am 234 and not 334. What is your favorite food(s) now? Favorite for my tummy is tuna salad. I can deal with that better than any thing else. And cheese sticks. I guess I am still in that faze that food is a second thought. Wi**** would be that way forever. Thing is I was never a "real" food eater. I lived off of cookies, cakes, chocolate, pies. I am not eating any of that now. So it is really hard to say what a favorite will be for me. Ask me next month. Any ups and downs you would like to share? My biggest problem was letting go of my now really way too big clothes. But I posted yesterday I went through my closet and gave nearly every thing away to my friend and her sister. I had to keep something to wear. Can't run around in my birth day suit. Anything else you would like to share I still have days where I can barely get out of bed and dressed. I asked my doctor about this. He said for me to look to be like this for another four months. He said it was the changes my body was going through. Some days I get up and ready to roll. The next day you darn near have to roll me and dress me. But it is better than last month And JaNae what about you???? Or did I miss it????

No, you didn't miss them. I was getting ready to answer the questions yesterday but got busy. So here it goes: 1. What are your stats? Pre-op/Current/Goal 338/279/175 about 5'5 - 5'6 in height 2. What is your favorite food(s) now? shrimp, crab legs, grapes 3. Any ups and downs you would like to share? Lately, there have been more ups then downs. Finally, got rid of some old clothes and went out and bought new stuff. It was a great feeling walking in a store and seeing my size on the rack. I LOVE SHOPPING! Getting compliments from people is always a plus. Now if I can learn how to accept them then I'll be better. As far as the downs...becoming lactose intolerant has not been fun at all. Just the littlest dab of cheese or any milk product makes me ill. I love cheese and its hard to pass up. 4. Anything else you would like to share....This has been a blessing for me to have had weightloss surgery. I thank God for allowing me to have this surgery!!!! JaNae

Thanks for keeping us on our toes JaNae, 1.Pre-op 327.5/Current 270.0/ My personal goal is 185.0 that may change. 2. I do not have a favorite food. Food just does not taste like it use to. I do have two favorite drinks 1.Apple juice and 2. Hot chocolate 3. Downs- I can't see me the way other people see me. I can't see the weight loss. Ups- I like the fact that I am wearing smaller clothes and I feel more comfortable in my clothes. I also like the fact that my feet, legs, ankles and back do not hurt anymore. 4. I am glad that I decided to finally have this surgery and I am glad that I waited for my doctor. He is awesome and finally I am glad that I can share with other people the secret to my weight loss. I see people who are struggling and when they ask me how I am doing this (lossing the weight), I tell them the truth. Enjoy the rest of your week! Yolanda

Any ups and downs you would like to share? -Pooping and Stalls are the only downs to the whole WLS hoopla. -Ups.. This site has been a tremendous help in staying focused and feeling normal about all the little things that no one really ever discusses at those required WLS groups that you have to go to before surgery. -Ups.. Nothing feels better than getting rid of all my old clothes.. I was able to give a lot of them away on the OH board and that felt great to help others here. -OFFS.. how bout those? 42 whoo hooing pounds 4. Anything else you would like to share.... -Today I barely broke a sweat at my Step and Pump class.. and I was on the second level.. that felt pretty damn cool because I'm still the biggest girl in class. - I now have a shopping fetish for shoes and handbags because in my mind it's ok because these things will still fit when (well hopefully) I get down.. I find myself wanting to just go to the mall and fondle these items everyday after work even though I'm a broke intern who can't afford anything.. let alone a new handbag.. hehe Oh Fun!!
