:help: How much did you loose first 3mth?
It is so good to hear Im not the only one. I had my original surgery then I had a bowel obstruction 2 days later and in surgery again. My surgery was Dec 21. I was down 30 pounds and stuck there for WEEKS. I have been crying and crying to my husband that I did not go through all this for 30 POUNDS. Ive been trying to eat properly and the things that never bothered me have been upsetting my pouch. I guess we will all have to stick together and support each other as we are all in this together.

i'm at almost 3 months and 38-40 pounds down. I'm thrilled since that 40 pounds was never never never going to go away without WLS. I'm taking the long view -- there are weeks of no loss and I don't think its a "stall", just a catch-up week. I exercise a little, but I'm not a "gym rat" and most probably never will be. I'm older and I've been dieting longer than some of the young ones have been on this earth, so I knew it might be slower than most. But... but...in 2years I expect to amaze myself, get that TT and live therest of my life heathy, slim, strong.
Hey, there were no promises of daily weight loss, just the tool to keep it going.

I had my surgery on 2/6/06. I am only at the 3 week mark, but I have lost 42 pounds so far. I go to the dr again on 3/15 and can't wait to see my progress. If you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, eating and drinking the proper things, it will all come off in time. Everyone is different, that is what makes us unique... Keep up the good work!
Amanda, Don't sweat the small stuff. I had my surgery 12-12-05 and I have lost 70lbs although today I steped on the scale and to my shock I gained 3lbs. I can tell you I ate some cheese two days ago and I haven't compleatly emptied out. My tummy is bloated. I started out at 352 and my goal weight is 155. Just take it in small bites . I no pro but I think your doing well. Feel free to E-mail me any time.
